    Investment Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    Are you someone who can:

    • Represent Ashburton Investments to independent financial advisors.
    • Exceptional domestic and international investment knowledge.
    • Keep abreast of the regulatory framework as it relates to investments.
    • Achieve pre-determined AUM targets and preserve existing assets.
    • Participate in public forums, fund conferences, investor road shows and other marketing initiatives.
    •  Maintain accurate and up to date client CRM data.
    • Create opportunities for thought leadership pieces and manage the distribution of periodic marketing collateral.
    • Coordinates, prepare and host client engagement both online and in person.
    • Effectively interpret performance data and utilize results to build client rapport, and a competitive value proposition that factors in specific client needs.
    • Initiating and supporting the on boarding of direct clients.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and procedures, creating efficiencies.
    • Assist with various administrative duties where necessary.
    • Ensure sales practices and process comply with internal and external.
    • compliance requirements and standards.
    • Contribute meaningfully towards business strategy. 
    • You will be an ideal candidate if you:
    • Have completed a relevant undergraduate degree.
    • Honours, Masters and/or CFA will be an advantage.   
    • Minimum 7 years of distribution and sales experience within a retail framework, working for an asset manager or linked investment service provider.
    • An accomplished sales track record, with a proven and established independent financial advisor network.

    Communications Manager

    Job Description

    • To plan, execute, support and optimise marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that enable the RMB brand, business imperatives, client experience and engagement across channels to internal and external audiences
    • Build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders while displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue, listen, advise, influence and negotiate to achieve win outcomes.
    • Initiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are delivered.
    • Preserve relationships despite airing conflicting views and seeks mutual gains when addressing conflicts.
    • Anticipate consequences and adapts problem solving based on continual feedback.
    • Act speedily to resolve problems queries and complaints.
    • Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences.

    • Work with video production company to edit review and approve news show and distribute to the bank for broadcast.
    • Source and liaise with vendors on the production of live broadcasts as above.
    • Liaise with IT to ensure supporting technology for live broadcasts is in place and working properly.
    • Generate material and liaise with agencies to facilitate the production of material in line with client proposal.
    • Manage feedback and approval process.
    • Ensure RMB corporate identity is displayed in accordance with agreed guidelines.
    • Manage reputational risk in terms of the quality and content of all material
    • Manage end-to-end production with external suppliers such as printers video production houses and digital design agencies, negotiating favourable terms
    • Scrutinise quality of all printed documentation and manage any issues that arise.
    • Receive and analyse a brief from a BU.
    • Research content and intention both in terms of sourcing relevant material and interviewing key stakeholders.
    • Consolidate and analyse information and present concepts and recommendations.
    • Identify and source communication opportunities and liaise with internal clients to obtain go-ahead.
    • Identify most appropriate and effective communication.
    • Manage client approval process.
    • Demonstrate pride in the organisations brand services and products by consistently delivering on the brands promise.
    • Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.
    • Stay relevant and up to date with legislations and new developments.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback.
