    Key Account Manager

    Role Purpose
    The Key Accounts Manager role is based within Vodacom Business.

    Role Purpose:

    • Assume responsibility for the top 10 high growth potential accounts for industry. A base generating a revenue in excess of R50 million. 
    • Ensure profitable margin levels and successful direct key relationships of the vertical within the Sales cluster.
    • Drive the penetration and development of strategic accounts inclusive of upsell strategies of the widest possible range of solutions and products. Implement appropriate churn strategies to ensure that strategic accounts remain Vodacom business Customers.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Execute strategic agenda by identifying, leading and closing strategic account opportunities

    Principal Specialist: Pricing & Value Management

    Role Purpose:

    • The core purpose of the role is to support the Managing  Executive: Pricing & Value Management in providing Vodacom South Africa with a principles based pricing governance framework across VSA in order to create the right conditions under which we can optimise and maximise profitability & synergies of product offerings across VSA through a holistic view on Pricing, Deal Creation & A&R spend while ensuring compliance with any regulatory requirements.
    • The individual will be expected to interact with various stakeholders across the Consumer Business Unit, Vodacom Business Unit and Financial Services Business Unit. The ME’s function is strategic in nature as it controls long-term pricing, profitability, product management and planning on the overall VSA business requirements as well as alignment of the pricing functions within the business units.     Your responsibilities will include:
     

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

    • Assist with creation, management and monitoring of principles based pricing governance framework, pricing strategy and regulatory pricing across VSA to assist with main objectives of:
    • Avoiding dilution & cannibalisation effects across product and business units
    • Ensuring competitiveness and relevance in the market
    • Identifying gaps in products, pricing and delivery across BUs to assist in clear roll out Vodacom South Africa strategy

    • Ensure principles & governance followed within A&R wrt Deal creation, Efficiency & Intensity Measures, Collars on min and max A&R spend, Discounting rules, Terminals negotiations, Migration Path & Dilution predictive management
    • Support with ongoing tracking, reporting and insights on monthly behaviours of customers , products and campaigns 
    • Working closely with the Stakeholders Product EHODS  on relevant strategic initiatives and drivers for future growth 
    • Work closely with VB and CBU FBP to provide financial models for A&R investment, IBRO revenue and support decision making processes for commercial initiatives

    Communication:

    • Written material must be of the highest quality with clear insights and actions for managemeCommunicate and conduct presentations effectively 
    • Prepare and present performance to pricing, product, sales, finance, trade marketing and marketing teams EHODs

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • Proficient SQL user is essential
    • Analytical thinking and experience

    • Experience in other coding languages (Python, R, VB) will be an advantage

    Role Profile:
    The H Band Cluster Specialist role is based within the Consumer Business Unit.

    • The successful candidate will be a dynamic member of the commercial planning team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality business insights into the Customer Care Operations as well as answering ad hoc requests / questions.     Senior Specialist Core Infrastructure Support (CIS).

    Role Purpose

    Maintenance and Support functions required for the Core Infrastructure Support  department’s job objectives.

    Your responsibilities will include:
