Role Purpose
The Specialist Credit Risk Analytics role is based within Infinity Services Partner Division.

The main function of this position is to be responsible for analysis, data mining and reporting efforts in a telecommunications service provider environment, across the credit life cycle of acquisition, maintenance, early collection and legal collection.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advise on credit policy (acquisition/maintenance/collections)
• Report on performance.
• Portfolio performance
• Operational performance.
• Perform required procedural maintenance of on-going projects. (Monthly reconciliations, portfolio analysis)
• Interact with internal business clients in order to drive overall credit risk performance.
• Perform specified analytical/reporting functions.
• Explore existing data and produce recommendations for improved credit policy (reporting and MI).
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting when required. (Business support).
• Report on credit metrics.
• Utilizing best practices of data analysis to ensure data results are accurate.
• Summarizing findings, developing recommendations and presenting analyses to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format.
• Create and maintain online dashboard for daily productivity.
• Create targets for 3rd party’s productivity (call centre)
• Maintain data warehouse tables for future modelling
• Helping the team with technical, systemic and analytical issues
• Maintain servers and desktop machines used for scheduling reports

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Credit Risk best practise.
• Critical Thinking.
• Data mining.
• Digital Report writing.
• Knowledge of SAS, MS Excel
• Knowledge of Programming languages such as Python 
• Knowledge of BI systems such as MS Power Pivot, Qlik Sense.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with technical systems, rational datasets, data warehouses, data mining, and data analysis techniques.

• 3 years Bachelor's degree /Diploma OR equivalent in Computer Science/Information Systems- essential
• Experience in general credit experience which includes knowledge on credit and risk best practice, automated report writing, programming techniques will be an advantage.
