    Diesel Motor Mechanic

    Responsibilities

    • Repairs are conducted timeously and within specification
    • Vehicles are maintained in accordance with codes and schedule
    • Accurate fault diagnosis
    • Tuned engines result in fuel efficiency
    • Thorough & safe diesel motor mechanical work is ensured
    • Maintain stock levels
    • Responsible for workshop store

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • A qualified aertisan with a diesel mechanic trade certificate
    • 3-5 years relevant experience
    • Heavy vehicle drivers license
    • Knowledge of machines and tools
    • Understand diesel motors and mechanical components
    • Must have leadership experience and capabilities through previous roles performed

    Strategy Manager - AMESA

    • The Strategy Manager is a key part of the AMESA strategy team and delivers answers to critical questions related to our business strategy, evaluates potential M&A and supports leadership in business planning.
    • Proficiency in market and competitive intelligence analyses, internal and external benchmarking, and strong capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint tools is a must.
    • The candidate must be comfortable with financial modelling, be able to succinctly communicate to executives whilst collaboratively working with key stakeholders in Sector and Business Units.
    • The Strategy Manager will share the team's accountability in producing top-notch quality deliverables for senior management at the local, regional, and global levels, and provide leadership and coaching to junior members of the team as required.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide thought partnership to business partners and Senior Executives on a broad range of business-critical topics
    • Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo
    • Develop project deliverables in partnership with other functions and teams
    • Lead project teams: oversee and conduct data analytics to ensure conclusions are grounded in facts
    • Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / geopolitical trends
    • Contribute to capability building for AMESA and Global Strategy function (e.g., Recruiting,
    • Training, Knowledge Management, etc)
    • Execute against time-sensitive requests from Executives and cross-functional business partners

    Qualifications

    • 6-8 years of strategy experience with a Top-Tier consulting firm, earlier experience in FMCG strongly preferred
    • MBA preferred
    • Proficient in communicating in English
    • Thought leader with strategic mindset and broad global business outlook
    • Highly analytical thinker with sound business judgment
    • Excellent technical skills to process large quantities of data in an error-free manner
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Self-starter mindset with the ability to “manage up”
    • Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences; foreign language skills highly desired
