    Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in English

    Duties and responsibilities:

    Senior Lecturer

    •    Lecture undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
    •    Provide supervision to postgraduate students, namely Honours, Masters and PhD students.
    •    Conduct research and deliver quality research outputs in line with the research strategy of the faculty.
    •    Attend and speak at conferences, research colloquia, workshops, and seminars to enhance research and disciplinary knowledge.
    •    Participate in community activities such as mentorship and provide training and short courses in the areas of specialisation.
    •    Perform academic administration pertaining to undergraduate and postgraduate subjects – this may include typing, setting and marking of all question papers and memorandums, recording of marks and handling of student complaints.

    Senior Assistant Officer

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Provide an effective interface between the office of the Head of Department (HOD) and
    • members of the university community, public, private and community organisations, and business and government sectors.
    • Manage enquiries and refer enquiries to knowledgeable persons in a discretionary manner.

    Duties and responsibilities:
    •    Research 

    •      Benchmark international and national withther higher education institutions in the usef various learning technologies.
    •     Scanf the learning technology service provider environment to find possible solutions to address teaching and learning needs within faculties and/or the institution.
