Duties and respnsibilities:

•     Present lectures, tutrials, small-grup discussins and practical training sessins in Human Physilgy fr undergraduate students in the Faculty f Health Sciences.
•     Present lectures, seminars and tutrials in Human Physilgy fr pstgraduate students in medicine and the health prfessins.
•     Facilitate small-grup discussins and practical sessins fr undergraduate and pstgraduate students in the Faculty f Health Sciences.
•     Invlved in curriculum develpment and mdule management in mdules presented t undergraduate and pst graduate students in health prfessins.
•     Participate in the departmental research prgramme and pstgraduate supervisin.

Inherent Jb Requirements:

•     A PhD degree n NQF level 10 in the field f Human Physilgy.
•     Prven experience in the presentatin f papers at natinal and/r internatinal schlarly cnferences. 
•     Prven experience in supervisin f graduated masters and/r PhD students.
•     Prven research recrd f relevant publicatins in natinal and internatinal accredited jurnals. 
•     Prven academic wrk experience in the higher educatin sectr.

Recmmendatins:

•     An NRF rating r demnstrate ptential fr btaining an NRF rating.
•     Prven natinal recgnitin fr specialist expertise and research in a specific area f schlarship.
•     Prven experience f service as an active member f a natinal r internatinal schlarly sciety r cmmittee cncerned with research at higher educatin levels.
•     A valid driver's license.
•     A gd academic recrd.
