    Senior Business Planning & Analysis Manager

    Job Description

    • The role of the Senior Business Planning & Analysis Manager is to provide Sandoz South Africa with analysis, reporting, forecast and finance support, and will provide insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the CFO and management team.

    Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Financial planning activities including driving Target, Forecast and Outlook process for South Africa market and the legal entity (export markets), focus on Full P&L (Sales, Gross Profit and TFC’s (Total Functional Costs), headcount monitoring and planning as well as working capital and Management Cash Flow.
    • Business partnership and performance monitoring for commercial functions, Sales (Public and Private), RX Marketing and OTC as well as Supply Chain and other function financial support.
    • Month, quarter and year end closing and reporting activities, including journal preparation, month end reporting and analysis of key figures.
    • Financial Compliance activities according to SFCF (Sandoz Financial Controls Framework)
    • Collaboration with Cluster and Regional Finance (BPA) teams to drive process simplification and optimisation

    Role Requirements :

    Education:        CA(SA) Chartered Accountant (South Africa)

    Languages:       English

    Experience:

    • Significant (5-7 years) experience in auditing, financial reporting or management accounting, with record of strong BPA focus
    • Excellent analytical ability
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to clearly present financial data in reports distributed internally and externally
    • Excellent understanding and ability with ERP (SAP preferrable) systems, as well as relevant financial reporting tools and systems
    • Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment

    Additional Entry Level Criteria:

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Proficiency in SAP
