    Professional Nurse

    Description

    Requirements

    Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Diploma in General, Community and Midwifery Nursing
    • 2 years as a Registered Nurse in NGO/Community Clinic or a hospital environment

    Desirable Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Diploma in General, Community and Midwifery Nursing
    • HIV/AIDS Management Course
    • 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse Community Nursing Health setting or Hospital setting

          Key Performance Areas

    • Assess, examine and diagnose patient’s clinical conditions and triage
    • Do relevant blood tests and observations/vital signs
    • Interpret HIV test results, follow up on inaccuracies
    • Assist with the process and implementation of VCT (Voluntary Testing and Counselling)/ HCT (HIV Counselling and Testing)

    Data Capturer

    Description

    • To capture, update, clean, and maintain quality of patients’ medical records, relating to the delivery of Right to Care-supported HIV services at the clinic, on the relevant electronic/paper patient register/database used in the clinic

    Requirements
      Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric
    • Post-matric certificate in computer literacy including Excel, OR equivalent experience
    • Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS
    • Proficiency in English
    • 1 year experience in data capturing
    • Experience in working at APACE programme
    • 1 year’experience in data capturing on Tier.Net which is a programme used at the Department of Health
    • 1 year’experience in Capturing on QODE programme.
    • Must have 1 year’ experience in achieving programme outcomes within the Thabo Mofutsanyana region
    • Must have 1-year experience in liaising with TM NDOH and familiar with their SOPs
    • Must be a resident of TM or surrounding areas.

          Key Performance Areas

    • Capture all relevant patient data relating to HIV/TB services from paper files/paper patient register onto the relevant electronic database daily, including data relating to current visits as well as data relating to past visits (historical data)

    Data Quality Mentor

    Description

    • To strengthen the public health information system and support the implementation of user-friendly electronic and paper-based data management systems in the public health system in Right to Care-supported (sub-) districts, through the provision of Technical Assistance as well as M&E resources, to enable routine tracking, dissemination and usage of priority information relating to HAST services, according to Data Quality principles.

    Requirements

    • Tertiary qualification, or 3 years of relevant experience
    • Background in research and/or other data management field
    • Training in M&E
    • Post-matric certificate in computer literacy including Excel, OR equivalent experience

        Key Performance Areas

    • Assist the facility to achieve 100% of ART facilities signed off in this module, including support for installation, version upgrades, user training, oversight of back-capturing targets, data cleaning training, quality assurance (data cleaning and audit), and sign-offs.
    • Capacitate facilities with implementing the Tier.net modules for HTS, Pre-ART, and TB, as and when required by NDOH and district.
    • Assist the facility with ensuring that 100% of monthly Tier.net dispatch files and quarterly CSV files are received from ART facilities.
    • Assist the facility with reaching 100% of COP-funded T2 facilities with monthly Data Cleaning and routine site visits as per Site Visit Task List; and reaching 100% of T2 facilities with quarterly Tier.net audits.
    • Assist the facility with ensuring that 100% of COP-funded Tier.net facilities are generating and utilising all available Tier.net reports as per Reports Manual and ART M&E SOP

    Clinical Technical Officer

    Description

    • Should be prepared to travel as instructed by the line manager to supported sites
    • Ensure good working relations with all staff at supported sites
    • Ensure regular feedback to the program lead as instructed by line manager

    Data Capturer - Nelspruit

    Description

    • Capture all relevant patient data relating to HIV /TB services from paper files /paper patient register onto the relevant electronic data base on a daily basis, including data relating to current visits as well as data relating to past visits (historical data).

    • Provide leadership, coordination and formulate the QI/QA agenda within RTC programmes .

    Requirements
    Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

    • A degree in Nursing or Health related or related field
    • Significant experience working with the department of health at a senior level
    • Experience and technical knowledge of quality improvement projects
    • 7 years’ of experience working within the public health system of South Africa, regulatory or Quality environment in the service delivery platform in South Africa.
