    Pepsi Lipton Supply Chain & Commercialization Manager - AMESA

    Main Purpose
    The Supply Chain & Commercialization Manager works in close partnership with the AAMESA Supply Chain Director, PepsiCo, Unilever and Bottler Supply Chain teams to ensure the smooth running of the entire supply and distribution network and project implementation across AMESAA, this includes:

    • Lead demand planning, forecasting and S&OP alignment processes across markets with bottlers
    • Coordinate all supply chain, ordering, and shipping activities in collaboration with our bottling partners to ensure high level of product availability with adequate safety stocks and to support growth ambitions.
    • Lead the commercialization agenda across all the markets in the region by coordinating with functional teams on active projects to ensure on time delivery

    Responsibilities

    Accountabilities
    Provides SC leadership to ensure strong business partnership cross-functionally and with bottlers to deliver efficient day-to-day operations and long-term capacity planning across company-owned, franchise or 3P co-pack local GTM partners.

    • Leads demand planning, forecasting and S&OP processes across markets to ensure <2% OOS service
    • Ensures efficient concentrate kit supply to all bottlers in AMESAA (shipping / importation / regulatory / returns)
    • Work with Pepsi global concentrate solutions to manage all kit related issues with bottlers
    • Ensures efficiency of supply by leading kit productivity & harmonization initiatives
    • Coordinates the AMESA commercialisation (project) agenda through the standard PLI innovation process
    • Chairing of bi-weekly project calls with each market to ensure robust project management and implementation
    • Sits in on monthly regional calls (MBRs) with senior leadership team to represent SC function
    • Supports white market launches by carrying SC feasibility assessments
    • Develop key relationships Bottling Partners
    • Coordinates with local ops teams (PepsiCo/bottler/co-packer) and ensures adequate support for other technical functions on projects such as Technical Contact Managers (TCMs) and R&D.

    Qualifications

    Experience/Key Skills Required:

    • 8+ Years FMCG Supply Chain & Manufacturing experience preferably in Soft Drinks
    • 5+ Years Proven experience across Supply Planning & Logistics including S&OP.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver timely, quality results
    • Strong business acumen: able to work across regional, global functions and stakeholders clearly communicating across many levels of the organisation
    • Strong leadership and people skills: ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally.
    • Proven data-skills: familiarity with SAP, Excel, planning tools and ability to synthesize complex data and communicate to action
    • Analytics, Dashboarding & Score carding expertise preferred (Tableau, Power BI, etc..)
    • Fluent in English. Preferable additional languages: Arabic & French

    Forklift Driver-Klerksdrop

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the forklift driving.
    • Transport products and equipment.
    • Conduct daily physical inspection
    • Record product quantity and check expiry dates
    • Keeps the forklift and picking area clean
    • Clean the picking area
    • Maintain damage free stock operations
    • Compliance and accuracy on pallet stock stacking
    • Compliance to forklift speed

    Qualifications

    • Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations.
    • Valid forklift license is essential.
    • 2 years experience in the similar environment.

    Forklift Driver-Worcester, South Africa

    Responsibilities

    Leathers Department

    • Supply raw material to the Comas machine.
    • Supply raw material to the Tanks
    • Remove product from Tunnels, weighed products and move to storage.
    • Supply raw material to the Cutter machine
    • Supply raw material to the two Dicer machines
    • Supply raw material to the Five-Mix -Station.
    • Collect all final products from machine and move it to the storage area.

    Mix Dried Fruit Department (This department was added to his tasks)

    • Supply raw material to the Mincer machine
    • Supply raw material to the Bowlcutter machine
    • Supply raw material to the K&S Machine.
    • Supply product to Five-Mix -Station machine.
    • Supply products to Small packaging department to be packed.
    • Supply sugar to Leathers Department, Bowlcutter and K&S machines.
    • Collect all final products from machine and move it to the storage area.

    Additional tasks:

    Take all dirty containers from both Mix Dried Fruit and Leathers departments to Washing machine.

    Planning: The Forklift Driver draws up his/her own plan based on information provided by Production Supervisors of both departments.

    The machine’s downtime are measured by Overall Efficiency Effectiveness (OEE) system. The Forklift Driver can influence the OEE of the machines, when he fails to supply raw material on time. The Forklift Driver plan and prioritise the machine supplies as per the production plan.
    Qualifications

    • Minimum qualification is a grade 12
    • A Valid Forklift licence
    • Must pass a medical assessment.
    • Two year experience as a Forklift Driver

    Diesel Mechanic 1

    Responsibilities

    • Repaired and maintained vehicle or other engines and related mechanical compoments
    • Tested vehicle or other engines and related mechanical components
    • Tuned engines to achieve smoother running
    • Retested systems including road testing

    Qualifications

    • Five years  experience in repairing and maintaining vehicles or other engines and related mechanical components
