    Security Guard (JHB)

    Description

    • Monitor and control access to and from the FlySafair facility;
    • Ensure that only authorised personnel, vehicles, materials, company assets, and consumables are permitted to enter, move within, and leave the facility;
    • Assist with the removal of violators from the premises when required;
    • Stay alert for signs of criminal activity or disturbances and engage with relevant stakeholders;
    • Report any suspicious incidents and/or activities;
    • Patrol all facilities and perimeter as and when required;
    • Assist with Ad Hoc duties as and when required;
    • Conduct general searches of vehicles and valuables.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;

    Senior Certified Aviation Technician (Mechanical) - Flight Line (Cape Town)

    Description

    • Conduct line maintenance inspections;
    • Ensure quality is in on Pre-Flight, Post Flight and Transit inspections performed;
    • Performing routine and non-routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft to ensure they meet the highest safety and operational standards;
    • Conduct routine inspections on various mechanical systems on the aircraft;
    • Conduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault;
    • Perform A-checks including weekly service checks;
    • Perform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects;
    • Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft;

    Technical Service Specialist - Structures (JHB)

    Description

    • Supply, review, and assess the damage found during checks or due to operational incidents (i.e. bird strikes);
    • Determine the best course of action for rectification if the damage falls outside the scope of approved OEM manuals;
    • Liaise with the OEM on possible repair options based on available equipment/spares and resources and fleet requirements;
    • Create Engineering Orders for tasks, modifications and or compliance actions to be carried out on the fleet;
    • Ensure the maintenance of the highest standard of records for structures repairs for compliance with EASA, FAA, SACAA, leasing requirements and the support of sale and return of aircraft;
    • Review Service bulletins, Service Letters and ADS for possible implementation on the fleet.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent;
    • Aircraft Qualification
    • Aircraft Structures;
    • 10 years post qualifying experience in the Aviation Industry in particular Aircraft Structures and/or Composites;
    • Exposure to an Engineering work environment (Advantageous);
    • Trained and experience on B737CL and B737NG;
    • Hands on experience in repair design and implementation;
    • Proficient in Aircraft Documentation;
    • Licenced (Advantageous);
    • Exposure to MyBoeing Fleet & MyBoeing Toolbox applications (Advantageous);
    • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements. Knowledge of aircraft documentation, manufacturer supplied data and/ or manuals;

    MCC Coordinator (JHB)

    Description

    • Approve, control, monitor, and track all non-routine and deferred maintenance activities (MEL, CDL, etc.) to ensure the aircraft operates within approved legal limits;
    • Update the Computer based Tracking Platform and Smart Sheet;
    • Support line personnel in trouble shooting for all maintenance defects/ MEL deferment;
    • Facilitate communication between crew and engineers regarding all related defects, and also between aircraft and management for required status reports;
    • Monitor aircraft, follow up on daily status reports, and track maintenance actions completed on each specific aircraft;
    • Coordinate the swapping of aircraft for technical reasons, and their towing to and from Hangers for maintenance;
    • Do the daily a/c for the following day and pass on to Ops;
    • Coordinate requests from line for requested parts with Logistics and Engineering input in resolving any maintenance related issues;
    • Communicate to all outstations for feedback on any issues;
    • Contact the Technical Line as the focal point for information on delays, flight cancellations, or maintenance-related issues;
    • Follow up with Fault Analysis for trend monitoring and recurring defect rectification.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent;
    • Must have Avionic B737-400 / -800 experience (Essential);
    • Certified on B737 - 400 and 800 (Essential);
    • 3-5 years' experience on the line;
    • Previous aviation experience in an operational area (Advantageous);
    • Previous experience with troubleshooting and fault finding (Essential);
    • Willingness to work overtime when required;
    • Thorough knowledge of IPC, MEL and FIM. Aircraft system and components;
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
