    Purpose of Job

    This is a client facing role to provide strategic advice and guidance on Information Management.

    • Helping clients drive architecture, organization, and alignment of information assets to deliver value, better decisions, and manage risk
    • Information Strategy & Roadmap
    • Assist our clients with assessing their current data and analytic capabilities and comparing to information needs requested by business stakeholders;

    Defining the target state architecture required to enable those capabilities and defining a roadmap of initiatives. This will cover capabilities across:

    • Data Governance
    • Data Structures and Architectures
    • Master and Meta data
    • Data Quality
    • Data Security
    • Analytics & Discovery
    • Reporting & Analysis
    • Big Data Platforms
    • Operating Model Definition
    • Assist our clients with right-sizing and optimizing the organizational structure and supporting processes in place designed to enable efficient business intelligence reporting and Analytic Centers of Excellence (CoE)
    • Data Platform Selection
    • Determine technology requirements, target environments and technical specifications for component tools of the architecture
    • The Information Architect will work with other domain architects in a collaborative and project based environment.
    • Establish and promote information management best practices.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum Degree Required Major: in Computer Science or any MIS related field

    Experience

    Minimum Years of Experience: 6

    Must be proficient in:

    • Information Architecture - Design and develop architecture components including data warehouses, data marts, Big Data and data provisioning architecture (ETL, messaging, etc.)
    • Big Data Reference Architecture & Platform definition as well as vendor specific best-practices for key market players (Microsoft, Google, Amazon, SAP, Oracle,)
    • Data Management Frameworks covering Data Governance, Data Quality and Profiling, Metadata
    • Evaluating enterprise information architecture feasibility, risk and technologies related to business change, processes and performance from business and technical standpoints; and the impact of data changes on business and/or IT processes
    • Advising CXO's/CDOs on emerging technologies and strategies consistent with clients' business strategies;
    • Prioritizing, preparing and implementing information architectural improvements
    • Developing and validating business stakeholders' conceptual data models, including socializing and implementing logical and physical data models; identifying data sources and metadata (including business rules, definitions, attributes, etc.) to deliver analytic requirements.
    • Demonstrates extensive ability to develop a business vision and lead implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities, including:
    • Identification and addressing of client needs--developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
    • Team leadership--generating a vision, establishing direction and motivating members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation

    • Data quality profile and cleanse master and reference data
    • Implement master data management technologies
    • Harmonize and consolidate the data via standards and process
    • Develop and implement data governance programs
    • Implement data integration technologies
    • Design, build, and manage data management solutions
    • Enhance data management security, access , and controls
