    Internal Client Services-Industry Marketing Manager | ER&I and Consumer

    Job Description

    Main Purpose of Job
    Develop and implement robust and well considered Industry marketing strategies aligned to the business strategy and objectives for the Energy & Resources and Consumer Business Industries.
     

    Key Performance Areas
    Strategic Impact 

    • Interrogates, clearly understand and communicates the agreed strategic objectives of the industry and of C&I as a whole and translates this into a marketing strategy that supports the firm in achieving its Industry revenue targets

    • Understands service offerings and products of the firm and understands and supports the business growth targets, remaining current on industry performance, client news and market developments

    Financial management

    • Provides input into annual budget to line manager and Industry strategist for drafting of marketing budget.

    • Compile campaign budgets and campaign performance reports for stakeholders.

    Differentiators for this specific role:

    • Marketing strategy development 

    • Develop a robust and well considered strategic marketing plan, aligned to Industry business strategy and objectives – with particular focus on Industry bold plays & growth platforms – for both the Energy & Resources (ER&I) and Consumer Business Industries.

    • Performs competitor research and analysis.

    • Displays subject matter expertise and strategic insight

    Implementation of Strategy & Marketing Plans 

    • Manage and monitors implementation of the ER&I & consumer industry marketing plans.

    • Facilitate the development of marketing collateral, including but not limited to relevant online and digital content.

    • Track and measure performance, including ROI and assessing channel effectiveness.

    • Keep industry community informed of marketing activities across the firm and drive connectivity between industry, service line and firm-wide marketing initiatives.

    • Implement and drive Account Based Marketing on selected client accounts.

    • Provide marketing support on selected Market Offerings and Industry executive learning courses.

    • Provide marketing support on selected Client programmes.

    Brand Centricity

    • Consistently complies with Deloitte brand and corporate identity guidelines and produces documents and work of appropriate quality and compliance.

    • Actively include brand positioning in outputs. 

    • Ensure that strategic themes are integrated into the Industry & Account Based Marketing plans.

    People Management 

    • Effective performance management of team members that enables the team to grow and thrive.

    • Provides constructive, timely feedback on a weekly basis or more often if required.

    • Technical mentoring and guidance in strategic marketing.

    • Effective performance management based on the team members specific needs.

    • Builds professional relationships with stakeholders, C&I teams and global MF counterparts.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Qualification: B Degree (Marketing/ communications/ commerce)

    • Desired Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification (Marketing/ communications/ commerce)

    • Minimum Experience: 7 years’ working experience within the relevant function

    • Desired Experience: 2 years at Senior Consultant level within the function

    Internal Client Services- Software Developer C#

    Job Description

    Main Purpose of Job

    To work fairly independently within area of expertise, giving guidance to staff in the business on issues relating to Software Development and Software Design, with minimal support from seniors. 

    Differentiators for this specific role

    • Produces code that is of high quality and is in line with industry software development standards.

    • Performing code review for all code that is checked into source control (TFS) before it is deployed to QA and production environment.

    • Provides guidance and technical advice on the technologies to be used.

    • Prioritizing and resolving bugs on the production environment in a timely manner.

    • Ensures that security and Microsoft patches are up-to-date.

    • Ensures that the environment is stable with an availability of 98%. 

    • Translating of problem statements, business requirement and business processes into a solution on the applicable technological platform

    • Produces documentation for all solutions that is developed.

    • Performs thorough testing in each step of the SDLC (Black box testing, Unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, UAT testing)

    • Conduct thorough testing before and after deployments. 

    • Conducts testing before and post-monthly maintenance or when ad-hoc patches are deployed.

    • Conducts JAD sessions with the business to advise, present and gathers business requirements for operational deployments

    • Mediate between application development and business user teams when issues arise during design, development and testing

    • Designs and assist in architects solutions that are to be implemented in the environment

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3-year B Degree in IT / Computer Science 

    • And MCSD certification 

    Minimum Experience

    • 3+ years’ experience as a Software Developer

    • 3 years of solid specialist experience with C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XML, .Net 3.5-4.5, JavaScript, jQuery and MVC 

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Microsoft certification on C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XML, .Net 3.5-4.5, MVC, Web Services 

    • Microsoft certification on MS SQL Server 2012 

    • Microsoft certification on MS CRM Dynamics 

    • Microsoft certification on MS SharePoint 2010 or 2013

    Desired Qualifications

    • Post graduate qualification / relevant Microsoft Specialist certification

    • Desired Experience

    • 3+ years within specific specialisation

    Technical Competencies
