    Accountant : Budget and Reporting

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Grade12 certificate, National Diploma or B Com Degree in Accounting plus 2-3 years' experience in financial management. 
    • Ability to understand, interpret and apply Financial legislation
    • specifically governing financial reporting and analysis. 
    • Must be computer literate. Knowledge of Solar financial system will be an added advantage.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Ensuring the timeous preparation of statutory reports and overall financial reports of the municipality in accordance with legislated and prescribed formats. Preparation of monthly Bank and Vat reconciliations of the municipality. 
    • Preparation and compilation of monthly budget statements, quarterly budget statements and mid-year assessment reports of the municipality. 
    • Ensure that all National Treasury Returns are submitted on time to relevant stakeholders. 
    • Assist in preparation of annual fnancial statements.

    Security Officer

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Grade 12 Certificate.

    • Experience of 2-3 years within the field of Security and Risk Management.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Grade12 certificate plus National Diploma in Labour Relations / Human Resource Management plus 2-3 years' experience in Labour Relation. Must be in possession of a valid driver's license.

    Manager: Project Management Unit (Re-advertisement)

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Degree or B-Tech in Civil Engineering. Professional Registration with the Engineering
    • Council of South Africa (ECSA) will be an added advantage. Five (5) years' experience in Civil engineering of which three (3) years should be at Middle Management Level and 2 years in Project Leadership Level.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring and Evaluation of MIG programme by checking and seeing to it that the backlog studies, socio-economic impact assessments and environmental impact assessments of projects are undertaken. 
    • Communicating and liaising with the community in respect of project planning and implementation. Preparing work schedules and monitoring performance by using job descriptions and agreed performance standards.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Grade 10 / National Certificate (N3) in Electrical Engineering plus 12-18 months experience in Electrical Engineering. Be in possession of a valid driver's license (Medium to Heavy Motor Vehicle) plus Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).

    • Managing and ensuring that any risk to public safety or contravention to traffic regulations and laws are identified and corrective measures enforced on offenders. 
    • Maintain effective and efficient stakeholders relations and ensure all general protocols, policy and procedures are adhered to.
    • Manages and ensure all administrative sequences related to statutory documentation, registers and statistics are performed.
