    Storeman - Phalaborwa

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensures good housekeeping principals are maintained in and around the consignment stock warehouse
    • Receives all new and refurbished equipment sent to the consignment stock warehouse , checks the correctness and quantities of the items and signs the documentation accepting the contents
    • Pack the new and refurbished equipment on the correct shelf in the consignment stock warehouse
    • Records quantities received into the stock control sheet with the document number
    • Issues new or refurbished equipment to the operators at the beginning of the shift on a one for one exchange basis
    • Records the issued equipment in the control sheets
    • Records returned used equipment on the discard analysis sheet
    • Pack returned stock into the racks provided
    • Sharpen bits if required
    • Locks the store and proceeds underground to do an over inspection of drilling operations
    • Take corrective action to rectify incorrect drilling or equipment usage
    • Give weekly stock replenishing sheet to the representative who will place these orders on the Distribution Centre for the weekly delivery
    • Complete the daily report for the previous 24 hour cycle and take the daily report to the designated Mine Official
    • Notify the Technical Representative of any abnormal occurrences
    • Identify problematic areas (Operator, Rigs/HH Rock Drills, Product Performance)

    Skills, Competences and Experience:

    • Require medical fitness certificates (Red Ticket).
    • Good / sound interpersonal / customer relations to be maintained at all times.
    • Ability to read and write
    • Able to work with minimum supervision.
    • Good communication skills and customer focused.
    • Computer Literacy.

    The role     

    • Accurate order processing, invoicing, and time-keeping schedules.
    • Performs various clerical office tasks including maintaining files, records, scheduling, compiling data, investigating information, processing documents, posting records, and typing correspondence and reports from drafts.

    Service Technician RGD

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Supporting the company’s policies and procedures
    • Technical support for Drilling Contracts
    • Ensuring continuous customer support regarding product performance.
    • Professional and highly motivated to maintain and increase market share and profitability for Rock Drilling Tools.
    • Monthly reporting to product and area managers of developments in area.
    • Product presentations to new and existing customers to promote product.
    • Liaison with customer on new products and designs.
    • Liaise with customers regarding product related queries. (claims / non-performance)

    Competences, Skills and Experience:

    • Extensive product knowledge on U/G product lines in RDT.
    • Certified drill rig operator. (or adequate experience in rock tool application and control)
    • Knowledge of correct applications of products.

    Payroll & HR Administrator

    Mission    

    • To contribute to and execute the Payroll & HR Admin service offering, in close collaboration with Payroll & HR Admin Specialists.

    The role

    • Execute a professional, modern and lean payroll and HR administration process by, but not limited to:
    • Updating and managing HR master data including filing of documentation
    • Correct and timeous processing of payroll
    • Adhering to and continuously staying updated on internal HR processes and policies
    • Communicating to internal stakeholders, providing information and advice linked to internal HR policies and processes
    • Oversee the Master Data compliance with all legal reporting requirements.
    • Continuously improve processes and ways of working, while using digitization and agile methodology as an enabler to achieve further efficiencies
    • Be a role-model for data-driven ways of working
    • Act as One HR through active collaboration with HR colleagues, locally, regionally and globally
    • Actively contribute to the development of the CoE HR
    • You will be expected to carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of "The Epiroc Way"

    Competences, skills and experience    

    • Tertiary qualification required in relevant area.
    • 1-3 years' experience in a similar role
    • Fluency in English, both in speech and writing is a key requirement, mastery one or more other key regional languages such as French and / or Portuguese is highly desirable
    • Experience of payroll and HR administration process and an understanding of accounting principles
    • Experience of cloud based payroll and HR administration systems like SuccessFactors, PSiber, SAGE or similar as well as Microsoft 365 and Excel and ticketing system like ServiceNow
    • Experience of digitalization and automation of HR processes
