    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • Your role involves interpreting and analyzing important legal and financial documents. You will use this information to understand, calculate, and present professional reports to Senior Analysts and experts. You will also engage with clients, helping them grasp complex actuarial matters.

    What you’ll need

    • A completed degree in Actuarial Science will open this door for you. An interest in report writing and research with high attention to detail, strong analytical and numerical skills, and the ability to work within a team are essential. Due to this being an entry level position, only candidates currently residing in Cape Town will be considered.

    EE Retirement Fund Product Accoutant

    • You’re an experienced Fund Accountant with strong accounting skills accompanied by a passion for investment administration and client service.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • In this role, you’ll be overseeing daily banking processes, ensuring accurate fund pricing, and managing comprehensive financial reporting for Retirement and Life products. Your role will involve handling tax compliance, including FATCA and CRS reporting and preparing for annual audits. You’ll find satisfaction in utilizing your strong analytical abilities to maintain precise financial records and deliver high-quality client service, contributing to the team’s success in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

You’ll be based in professional offices in Claremont with the option to work hybrid.

    What you’ll need

    • To excel in this role, you need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in fund accounting and you need a completed BCom in Accounting or equivalent. Your expertise in tax laws related to Unit Trusts, Retirement, Life, and LISP products, along with proficiency in software such as CaseWare and advanced Excel skills, is highly advantageous. You need to have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, goal orientated, show initiative and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role is EE only.
