    Accountant - Khoroni

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Degree in Finance or equivalent

    Minimum Requirements

    • 1-2 years management experience preferably in the Gaming or Hospitality industry.
    • Self motivated with excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Preference will be given to PDI candidates.

    Main Resposibilites

    • Fiduciary responsibility for the safekeeping and use of all funds and assets of the company as well as planning and managing the accounting systems.
    • Interpretation of operating results, making specific recommendations resulting in cost reductions and profit improvements for Executive Management evaluation and consideration.
    • Assume the responsibility for the correct and accurate accounting classification of all operating and capital expenditure.
    • Ensure the preparation of internal and external financial statements.
    • Responsible for the internal accounting and administrative controls to ensure that all transactions are handled correctly.
    • Preparation of long term plans and budget requirements to ensure that departmental and corporate goals and objectives are met.
    • Keeping abreast with current trends and practices within the area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to employees.
    • Responsible for the calculation and administration of all statutory taxes, levies and other charges.
    • Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase effectiveness and cost saving.

    Exceptions Officer - Emperors Palace

    Qualifications

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Must be licensed with the Gauteng Gambling Board
    • PSIRA – minimum Grade C qualification and certification needs to be active and up to date (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority)

    Minimum Requirements

    • Excellent computer knowledge and skills
    • Excellent knowledge on Slots, Tables games, Gauteng Gaming Board rules and regulations
    • Sound knowledge of On-line Gaming System is fundamental, ie. Bally
    • Must be a highly self motivated person with excellent communication skills and initiative
    • Must have the ability to self-manage
    • Surveillance experience would be an added advantage
    • Must be an analytical person with an eye for detail
    • Good logistical and organisational skills is a requirement

    Main Resposibilites

    • To audit and pro-actively investigate Group Gaming Exception Reports. E.g. Bill variances, Cashless variances, Hand-Pay variances, Cage, GRO, etc, and other duties as directed by Exceptions Supervisor and Management.
    •  To collect and collate group gaming stats and report such to Executive Management on a daily basis
    • To investigate any irregularities on the Cashless system
    • To compile Reports and investigations timeously and professionally
    • To carry out CCTV reviews, for Emperors Palace and for the Group when required
    • To identify, investigate and close cases for Emperors Palace, and for the Group when required
    • To liaise with SA Police / Court and where necessary, testify in court
    • To enforce all procedures, policies and Gaming rules and regulations
    • To liaise in a professional manner with all other gaming and accounting departments.
    • To deal and assist with disciplinary enquiries when required, internally and at CCMA

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Matric/Grade 12

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2 Years related experience in a Food & Beverage Service environment required;
    • Computer literacy: MS Office, Micros and Materials Control required;
    • Shift work is an operational requirement.
    • Knowledge and experience in cost controls is required;

    Main Resposibilites

    • Supervise the daily operations of the Casino Floor, by adhering to Food & Beverage policies and procedures;
    • Supervise Casino Floor Staff, i.e. Waitrons, Barmen, Chefs and Stewards;
    • conduct daily hygiene walkabouts, complete the required checklists, enforce the correct cleaning standards, Health & Safety standards and operating equipment;
    • Assist Management in dealing with Customer Complaints;
    • Perform 10 day, 20 day and monthly stock takes with Barmen and Stock Controllers;
    • Monitor and adhere to the “Signing In and Out Control” Procedures for all contract services staff;
    • Submit timesheets to the labour service provider’s office on a daily basis and monitor clock in and clock out transactions on K Log report.
