    Diesel Mechanic Assistant - Bushbuckridge

    • We at RCL FOODS are in search for a Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our Baking Division. The role will be based in Bush Buckridge and report to the Transport Manager.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who have a recognized Tertiary Qualification especially in the auto-electrical field and or Mechanical field.
    • Must have working experience in the running repairs of vehicles:
    • Attend to on road breakdowns.
    • Change wheels/tyre’s
    • Change, bleed and adjust brakes.
    • Change starter, alternator, water pump and V belts.
    • General electrical repairs.
    • Small body repairs and welding.
    • Removing and fitting prop shaft.
    • Small service work – change filters, oil and inspect oil levels.
    • Change Radiators.
    • Service or change wheel bearings.
    • Bleed fuel injection system.
    • Driver’s license with PRDP, code: C, C1 or EC.

    Duties & Responsibilities  

    • Work closely with Transport Manager to ensure the success of the department.
    • Knowledge of auto electrical repairs and must communicate this to Transport Manager.
    • Have solid mechanical knowledge of mechanical repairs due on Fleet and communicate to Transport Manager.
    • Assist Manager in controlling Transport costs while maintaining the quality standards.
    • Assist Manager in controlling Transport costs while maintaining the safety standards.
    • Be able to diagnose & repair Isuzu faults as per Isuzu fault finding system (Fault codes).
    • Be able to check/repair alternators & starters as required.
    • Be able to diagnose & repair auto electrical faults on demand.
    • Be able to diagnose & repair mechanical faults on demand.
    • Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities and service schedules.
    • Plan and monitor auto electrical component movements to ensure continuous operations.
    • Plan equipment &material needs for job card & service orders
    • Work with Manager to prepare auto electrical jobs & mechanical jobs on time within specifications.
    • Be able to keep fleet of vehicles legal.
    • Be able to complete job cards in English for all work done.

    Debtors Clerk - Rustenburg

    • RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to be responsible for controlling all debtors for the bakery.

    Minimum Requirements    
    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric with mathematic & accounting.
    • 2-3 years debtors or related experience, especially dealing with major retailers.
    • Knowledge on working with the different retailer portals.
    • Working knowledge on Capisol will be an advantage.
    • Relevant Syspro experience.

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    PRIMARY JOB OUTPUTS

    • Control debtors accounts

    KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reconcile all 30 day accounts to statement and age analysis.
    • Monitor prepaid accounts on a daily basis.
    • Ensure that documentation for all cash accounts is compiled as per standard specifications.
    • Ensure that all EFT payments are recorded.
    • Liaise with customers to ensure payments are processed.
    • Identify and report all customer invoices that have not been processed.
    • Follow up outstanding debtors to ensure payments are received on time.
    • Perform monthly debtors reconciliations.
    • Allocate debtors payments.
    • Ensure that all relevant documents are filed correctly for easy retrieval.
    • Assist financial department with administrative tasks.
    • Compile report for financial department.
    • Opening of accounts.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical ability.
    • Problem solving ability.
    • Accuracy
    • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
    • Assisting with chain store claims.
    • The successful person will be required to work month end weekends and on alternative weekends, if necessary.

    Credit Controller - Shoprite - Bedfordview

    • RCL FOODS is looking for a proactive and assertive individual who has a good understanding of credit management and takes responsibility for driving operation objectives and individual performance against defined metrics. RCL FOODS entrusts the incumbent to facilitate the achievement of customer collection targets, essential to the profitability of the Company, are met and to manage overdue accounts, reduce the Company’s risk and minimize losses.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Relevant Finance Diploma or Degree
    • 3 years experience in a credit of logistics environment
    • Solid experience working with large volumes of Claims.
    • Sound knowledge of SAP

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Credit Control:

    • Generate and dispatch invoices or PoD’s on time to enable payment.
    • Receive remittance advices from customers and allocate appropriately.
    • Process all discounts and rebates for the Credit Supervisor to release before close of month-end.
    • Clear all allocated cash in the General Ledger.
    • Allocate all credits weekly that has been processed to the account.
    • Ensure statements that are sent automatically via Capilink is received by the customer.
    • Preparation and checking of all rebate deductions from customer payments and the transferring of the deduction to a rebate account that is within the agreed Trade Agreement and specifications.
    • Accurate cash forecasting as and when required within deadline times

    Customer Administration:

    • Maintain compliance to credit limits for each customer and highlight possible non-conformance to the responsible supervisor before they exceed defined limits.
    • Liaise with customers to inform them of the balances once statements have been distributed, to ensure interim payment is made or to assist with application/documents for increases in credit limits where indicated, by the credit analysis report.
    • Report on all transactions on 60 days plus to the Credit Supervisor.
    • Process ‘stop supply’ instructions on Syspro where customer non-payment payment has occurred, ensuring that all the necessary instructions and authorisations have been received.
    • Where possible, liaise with customers to rectify account problems before “stop supply” instructions are implemented.
    • Advise customers when the account has been blocked and ensure that all necessary internal departments are aware of the status of the customer/account.
    • Continuous releasing and checking of orders as per requirement and timelines 

    Claim Processing:

    • Load pricing claims on live schedule for investigation timeously.
    • Manage stock claims (returns, damaged stock, shortage etc) by forwarding claims not credited to relevant depot.
    • Assess if credit has been passed on queries and, if it not, submit supporting documents electronically to relevant depot.
    • Manage invalid claims by providing the necessary proof or backup documents to the customer.

    • Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritising, and self-development.
    • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
