    Purpose

    • The purpose of this programme is to provide graduates with advanced workplace learning in a specialized discipline or sub discipline in their field of study.

    Process Manager - Witbank

    Contract Management

    • Interpret, implement and manage the contract.
    • Manage site budget, financial KPIs.
    • Liaise with client representative regarding overall plant performance and quality standards.
    • Ensure healthy and mutually beneficial relationship is maintained with client.
    • Manage the contract regarding volumes, quality and other specifications relevant to the final product.
    • Advises senior manager of any scope changes.

    Finance Graduate - Gauteng

    PURPOSE

    • This exciting opportunity exists in Fraser Alexander to assist the divisional finance team with various generalist responsibilities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting

    • Assist the Financial Manager with developing and preparing financial reports and any other reporting requirements.
    • Assist the Financial Manager with financial analysis.
    • Assist the finance team with process flow documentation and development of policies and procedures.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end processes to enable financial departments to meet deadlines and process all financial transactions before final closure.
    • Follow-up and resolve queries received from the division and, where required, escalate to line manager for action.

    Governance

    • Process financial transactions under guidance and supervision to ensure the transactions are recorded accurately in compliance with policies, processes, guidelines, and legislation.
    • Assist with the annual internal and external audit and perform financial account reconciliations to identify discrepancies or items to be actioned to ensure that all transactions are recorded in the correct accounting period.
    • Assist with quality review on financial statements.
    • Assist with specific project management and administration.

    Record Keeping

    • Assist the finance team with document management on OneDrive and SharePoint.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum Grade 12/ Matric Certificate.
    • BCom Finance/Accounting Degree or relevant equivalent.

    EXPERIENCE 

    • 1 year experience will be advantageous.

    Operations Superintendent - Limpopo

    PURPOSE

    • The role exists to perform a technical and supervision of a tailings project, ensuring setting out of the site, applying relevant designs and plans, resources management, project progress monitoring, as well as liaising with sub-contractors.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Business / Functional Management

    • Ensure operational execution aligns to production outputs
    • Efficient operations project execution

    Financial, Commercial and Contract Management

    • Manage, control and monitor the cost, materials and equipment, and implement cost-effective measures
    • Effectively manage the contract in line with commercial parameters
    • Manage all contractual and commercial commitment in line with budget
    • Risk Management, Compliance and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) responsibility
    • Implement and monitor company’s ESG mandate and social responsibility and legislative compliance

    Stakeholder Management (internal and external)

    • Promote ongoing communication with client representatives including Resident Engineer and other key internal mine stakeholders to foster good relations, through appropriate forums and interfaces
    • Manage key interfaces with client contractors, operations and local communities

    Operations and Project Management

    • Responsible for operational execution of all work, through teams of employees and subcontractors
    • Produce and monitor weekly and monthly programmes for job or sections of the job
    • Compile daily diaries and work schedules
    • Prepare short-term daily programmes including resources and allowable

    Manage Operating System and Reporting

    • Put appropriate controls in place at point of execution, to inform management information, and to take corrective action immediately if there are deviations to plan

    Requirements

    • BTech in Civil / Mining Engineering or equivalent
    • BSc Degree Civil / Mining / Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent preferred

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum two years’ experience working in a tailing’s management environment
    • Ideally two years’ production supervision capacity
