    HR Generalist

    Role Responsibilities

    Employee Relations

    • First point of contact for our employees on the resolution of all HR enquiries
    • Provide general HR support such as colleague inquiry resolution and HR general service to employees.
    • Manage employee relations topics as they arise, and take appropriate measures to root cause issues and rectify
    • Execute and apply people policies, using your independent judgment, based on our values, methods and procedures
    • Company representation for all HR matters, interactions with regulatory bodies i.e. reporting, audit, statistics to government

    People Solutions

    • Taking (co-) ownership of regional HR programs and policies including contracts, benefits, retirement, on-and offboarding, relocation, etc., working closely with subject matter experts and external partners as necessary
    • Challenging the status-quo and further improving our HR processes, procedures, and services
    • Directly manage employees completing country specific HR administration/programs, ensure new starters are well managed.
    • Contract/policy and procedure consultation, interpretation, and administration.

    Payroll

    • Monthly payroll and payroll reconciliation
    • Managing relationship with payroll vendor and GBS

    General

    • Office management and administration
    • Build strong relationships with all employees and People Managers
    • Organize Company Townhalls, proof positive, DEI and external employer branding events
    • Initiate and present people and culture topics at townhalls, conferences and other key employee touch points
    • Develop cultural, wellbeing and engagement initiatives in response to the business needs to ensure we maintain our Great Place to Work certification leveraging Regional and Global assets
    • Interpret available data and identify potential interventions to continuously improve the workplace and employee experience.

    Qualifications & Experience

    EXPERIENCE

    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and respective country employment legislation,
    • Experience working as an HR Executive or Manager, preferably with experience working independently
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Experience working with HR Systems - SuccessFactors is preferred
    • Fluent in English
    • Appreciation of what is takes to be effective in an international Matrix environment

    Area Manager

    PURPOSE & SCOPE OF ROLE:

    • Ensures the attainment of sales and marketing objectives for the relevant region through robust planning, exploration of new business opportunities and staff management.
    • Maximizing Beam Suntory’s financial returns by developing robust sales plans within available budgets, measuring and evaluating their implementation & success.

    Role Responsibilities

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Staff Management

    • Management of Sales Rep performance, including development, coaching & succession planning.
    • Alignment of direct reports goals and company performance objective
    • Ensuring compliance and attainment of staff to set KPI’s
    • Motivate team behind a clear, simple and powerful strategy
    • Participates in workforce planning and staff development.
    • Lead the functional / leadership development of team, through inspirational in field & classroom training and coaching

    Reporting

    • Analyze sales data and mentor/guide on best operating procedures in order to achieve the sales ambition
    • Responsible for monthly regional briefing, feedback and capability meetings and effectively communicate relevant information.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Tertiary level Qualification with commerce, sales and marketing preferable
    • Bachelor’s Degree would be advantageous
    • 5 Years field experience in sale in the Liquor industry or within a similar FMCG industry
    • Exceptional Rapport with Key Clients and in the trade
    • 2+ years’ experience in staff management
    • Driver’s License & reliable own transport

    Head of Sales

    Role Responsibilities

    People leadership:

    EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

    • Solid experience dealing with South African retailers and in building successful teams
    • Strong market understanding in roles such as Sales leadership, Key Account Director & Category management experience. With at least 8 years sales experience.
    • Senior commercial experience negotiating and dealing with multiple contracts and close liaison with key customers to deliver a triple win. Negotiations experience with top key customers in France
    • Solid experience in Trade Marketing in promotions development, owning key selling moments, driving visibility and cut-though in trade
    • Demonstratable strategic thinking and global business problem solving: Experience in building commercial policy, delivering assortment strategy, building terms & conditions
    • Strong track record of delivering ambitious growth in challenging external environments.

    Sales Representative

    Role Responsibilities

    • A sale s representative is the cornerstone to the success of Beam Suntory South Africa, being not only a reflection of Beam Suntory SA, but an extension of its Brands, values and ethos.A Sales rep will be responsible for a specific segments, which may include both on & off trade customers as the area dictates. This role is target driven and the person must be able to work independently in a highly pressured environment.
    • Effectively manage and develop a universe of suitable outlets in order to deliver individual, regional & company targets for our portfolio of premium spirit brands. Proactively grow the net sales value by observing, analyzing, planning & implementing targeted sales and marketing activities in the outlet universe, that deliver a positive ROI to the business & place our brands in the hearts & hands of our target consumer.

    Role Responsibilities

    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • A Beam Suntory sales rep should always strive for Commercial Excellence in all elements of the role, always considering the triple win of both company, customer & consumer with a view of driving long term, sustainable, profitable sales value growth on our key brands.

    Sales & Promotional execution

    • Call on established active customer database, as per provided call cycle, reviewing monthly to drive efficiency as required with line manager, ensuring full call adherence over quarter.
    • Increase rate of sale on active items in active universe by utilizing brand building assets & initiatives
    • Increase listings & distribution of key brands within active universe, against set targets within tiered segmentation structure.
    • Source leads to increase universe of outlets, in line with tiered segment targets, ensuring that all needed documentation is collated & submitted correctly.
    • Utilizing provided deals and discounts within agreed parameters, to drive value growth yet ensuring pricing consistency across customer base.
    • Ensure high merchandising standards are maintained & POSM is utilized correctly & tracked on repforce.
    • Find & implement & measure additional visibility opportunities throughout the year
    • Build trust based relationships with customer, handling queries and resolving any issues, driving brand & category knowledge, brand engagement & advocacy.
    • Ensure that customer accounts are up to date and in good standing.
    • Execution of brand campaigns as per set quarterly KPI’s
    • Reporting/Ongoing Measurement & evaluation
