    Internal Client Services- Growth Office- Senior Manager: Client Account Excellence

    Main Purpose of Job

    To drive sustainable and profitable growth and a purpose beyond profit in Deloitte Africa’s priority growth client accounts and embedding client account excellence  and leading-edge practices in the Deloitte Africa priority client account programme.

    Differentiators for this role

    • Support Industry Leaders through the design and facilitation of customised strategy sessions for regions/sectors that incorporate leading global best practices for account excellence.
    • Enable the development/refreshing of multi-year account strategies by designing and facilitating account strategy labs that define OneDeloitte positioning in response to heart-of-the-client issues.
    • Drive the development of live client service plans to execute the multi-year account strategies.
    • Support Industry Leaders and Client Leaders through the design and facilitation of customised account sessions that deep dive into specific account focus areas.

    Team with Industry Leaders and Industry Strategists to review and guide account progress against the client service plans on an ongoing basis.

    • Guide Client Leaders and CAMs in focusing account team meetings on heart-of-the-client issues and how to achieve the desired Deloitte positioning at the client in line with global account excellence practices
    • Promote Client Leader excellence through collaborating closely with the Client Leader Programme and incorporating feedback loops between client account strategy and planning:
    • Client Leader appointment and succession planning
    • Client Leader contracts
    • Client Leader development in both an individual setting (Client Leader labs)  and a group setting (Client Leader connect sessions)

    Ensure account management excellence through collaborating and guiding the Client Account Manager (CAM) Programme:

    • Role descriptions for appointing CAMs
    • CAM community of practice to share and promote best practices in account management
    • Leverage the voice of the client/client relationship reviews as input into Client Leader excellence and account strategy formulation

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree

    Desired Qualifications

    • Postgraduate qualification (relevant to Industry/Service Area / Business Management, etc.)

    Minimum Experience    

    • 7 years’ working experience within the relevant function

    Desired Experience    

    • At least 3 years at manager level
