    Income Product Development Expert

    Brief Description

    The Income Solutions Centre of Excellence ensures Old Mutual Emerging Markets delivers best-in-class income propositions to our customers. The market for annuities and other income solutions is shifting with significant changes to customer needs, demographic profiles and regulations expected in the coming years.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Development Expert to play a key role in enhancing the value of Old Mutual’s Retail annuity product offering. The successful candidate will focus specifically on new developments where they will create, refine and clarify the detailed definition of the business need, design the corresponding business processes and support the implementation of the business solution. The individual should be recognised as a lead specialist in their own area within the organization and provide thought leadership, mentoring and guidance to others while being an expert in Business Analysis Techniques

    Job Requirements

    Role Qualifications

    • Degree level or equivalent working experience. Minimum 8+years of relevant BA experience
    • Annuity (living and guaranteed) product knowledge advantageous
    • Prior Financial Services background advantageous

    Role Description

    • Establish overarching product architecture for new Income product developments
    • Design and document product processes (covering new business, transactions, etc.)
    • Provides, mentorship, team leadership, and guidance to others.
    • Ownership and governance of business analysis methodology
    • Creating a requirements framework across a programme
    • Identify, refine, clarify, and define the business need
    • Able to assist with projectrequirements planning
    • Applying and anticipating technical expertise
