The successful candidate will be reporting to the Technical Manager, Airport Systems and Electronics and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Reduce impact of outages and incidents caused by poor configuration management, lack of maintenance.
- Ensure that all systems and systems componens are proactively monitored so that issues are identified and resolved before they impact systems users.
- Ensure all systems are backed up and they have redundancy and DR plans.
- Ensure that all systems have Business Impact Assessment done, so that correct DR plans are put in place.

Supervisor Marshalling- Grade C1
An exciting vacancy exists at O.R. Tambo International Airport for an experienced Supervisor Marshalling within the Operations Management division.
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Fire & Rescue and will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure execution of pre-inspections of parking bays for safety compliance.
- Coordinate and supervise marshalling process to ensure correct aircraft position.
- Coordinate and supervise notifications to pilot when chocks are in place.

Job Description
AMC Representative- Grade C4
An exciting vacancy exists at O.R Tambo International Airport for an experienced AMC Representative within the Operations Management division.
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Duty Manager AMC, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Develop, implement, monitor and review airside procedures and working instructions.
- Ensure daily operational plans are completed, review quality, critical information is communicated, and according to agreed standards. Modify plan to ensure minimal disruptions to operation
- Attend and contribute to AMC meetings, provide a comprehensive end of shift handover to next AMC Representative.
- Publish the withdrawing and resuming of infrastructure and services in normal operations and ensure that the impact is clearly communicated to all departments.
- Monitor relevant systems to detect events that may cause delays to the PBA process across the airport as a whole and communicate with other AMC representatives to ensure that any events arising in other functional areas are understood and communicated.
- Interact with other AMC representatives to facilitate CDM and offer advice or information in implementing decisions for event action and minimising the impact of delays.
- Analyse any event from Airside in order to determine which AMC representatives to inform.
- Management of real time capacity for exceptional circumstances (events/weather related).
- Facilitate efficient communication across functions for all AMC related processes including information dissemination.
- Ensure that the Notification of works on airside to internal and external stakeholders is accurately communicated and that impact is mitigated.
- Compile reports and indicate deviations on published procedures and regulations.
- Produce monthly management reports through the analysis and trending of operational activities and data to provide business intelligence for decision making.
- Review manual events and associated comments, trends and support AMC Manager and AMC Duty Manager in preparing information, compile end of shift report, review daily operational report.
- Monitor and ensure compliance to all relevant legislation and regulations in carrying out day to day airside operations.
- Identify and manage Company’s risk exposure through the effectiveness of AMS products and implement risk control measures to minimise the Company’s liability.
- Monitor airside service providers performance through engaging and supporting the service providers in the AMC to achieve and exceed agreed service levels in adherence to the airside contractual agreements.
- Plan and monitor construction and maintenance operations that could impact aircraft operations.

- Participate in implementation of SHERQ Campaigns, provide On-Job HIRA workshop, Safety Management Systems, OHS and SHE Induction, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and other SHE related training to ACSA Stakeholders and develop and conduct relevant Safety, Health and environmental campaigns with the airport community.
