The Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities, while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.
The PO has a significant role in quality control and is the only team member empowered to accept stories as done. The Product Owner is responsible for understanding the needs of the business leaders and the strategic direction of the organisation as well as leading a program of research and development to deliver a solution which meets these needs.
The PO will lead with the identification and business case development for digitisation and automation of manual risk execution processes and practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification - Bachelor of Commerce/Business Management or Financial Degree
- Preferred qualification - Post Graduate degree
- Appropriate Process Qualification i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, SAFE Certification, PMPO, Safe for Team Certification and Agile
Experience
- 3-7 Years, Experience in risk management, process engineering plus a strong understanding of IT environment.
- Good understanding of all banking products, processes, and systems.
- Experience in implementing features
- More than 3 years’ experience in AI, cognitive computing, robotics, and innovation

- Identify ways to improve processes so they are lean and efficient whilst meeting business delivery requirements in line with backlog.

To be responsible for performing risk assurance engagements in and across the organisation. This includes Debtor Reviews for Structured Working Capital Finance and Reviews on Complex Business Banking or Commercial Banking clients. Responsibilities include planning, execution and reporting on risk review assignments on clients of the bank as well as internal bank operations. The incumbent is an independent and objective risk management professional who provides valuable insights and reasonable assurance on the governance, risk management and internal control environments of both the bank and its clients.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Honours Degree in Financial Mathematics or Computer Science

- Masters Degree in Financial Mathematics or Computer Science

- 3-4 Years experience in Financial and derivative market products.
