Manager, Credit Risk Assurance at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To be responsible for performing risk assurance engagements in and across the organisation. This includes Debtor Reviews for Structured Working Capital Finance and Reviews on Complex Business Banking or Commercial Banking clients. Responsibilities include planning, execution and reporting on risk review assignments on clients of the bank as well as internal bank operations. The incumbent is an independent and objective risk management professional who provides valuable insights and reasonable assurance on the governance, risk management and internal control environments of both the bank and its clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualification:

• First Degree in Finance and Accounting.
• First Degree in Business Commerce.
• Credit Risk Management, Financial Risk Management, Internal Auditing.

Minimum Experience Required:

• 3-4 years experience in Operational risk management within banking and enterprise risk management.
• 3-4 years experience in Credit risk management, Credit life cycle
• 3-4 years experience in Regulatory and compliance risk management as it applies to banking as well as retail and wholesale customers of the bank.
• 3-4 years experience in  Internal auditing within the banking environment.
• 3-4 years in experience in External auditing. Manufacturing/Logistics will be an advantage. Cash cycle, Debtors cycle, Creditors cycle experience will be an advantage.
