    Specialist: HR Operations and Employee Services

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • The Specialist: HR Operations & Employee Services is responsible to manage & support Employee Service provisioning and support the HR Operations, Recruitment & Onboarding service delivery
    • Further the role will also provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle

    Operational Delivery

    Senior Manager: HR Operations and Business Partnering

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    The Senior Manager: HR Operations and Business Partnering will develop and administer all human resource operations initiatives and provide HR support to all business departments. Deliver the business vision, goals, strategies, and execution priorities.     • Liaise with employees, legal teams , and business where required
    • Report and advise Leadership and Executives on ER related issues and possible resolutions
    • Manage and review the industrial relations actions, industrial interventions, and oversee the disciplinary procedures & processes for Group Finco
    • Ensure terminations, re-deployments and changes to workforce are administered in a fair and effective manner, in compliance with the local regulations and legal requirements
    • Oversee and manage exit interviews conducted, analysed, and feedback provided to management and input into retention strategies

    HR Operations Reporting

    • Manage end to end operations and service metrics which include recruitment & onboarding, employee services, employee relationsMonitor and report on compliance with HR processes and policies
    • Prepare, review and file statutory reporting requirements, as per the schedule of compliances
    • Prepare Reports and Executive updates presentation on key workforce and operational metrics
    • Manage accuracy, integrity and completeness of HR data for Group Finco

    Statutory Reporting and Compliances

    • Accountable for compliance for South African Labor and Statutory regulations and acts as applicable

    • Responsible for governance and continuous improvement of performance management policies and processes in line with Group MTN performance management processes and polices, where applicable
    • Promote and drive integration of the performance management framework with MTN Group Performance frameworks, where applicable
    • Cascade Performance management guidelines, principles, templates and critical cycles across Opcos for global alignment and standardisation
    • Design and implement standardized global libraries for goals and KPIs. Ensure alignment to the business plan, strategy and budget by actively collaborating with the respective functional Leaders

    Senior Specialist: EPM Financial Reporting Design

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    The Senior Specialist: EPM Financial Reporting Design position is responsible for the MTN Group system design and development to perform financial reporting. The position combines development and operations and closely aligns with the support of the system to enable continuous improvement and monitoring of the reporting process.

    • The Senior Specialist: EPM Financial Reporting Design position is responsible for the MTN Group system design and development to perform financial reporting and month end processes spanning all the way from OpCos’ legal entities to the group aggregate numbers.
    • The position combines development and operations and closely aligns with the support of the system to enable continuous improvement and monitoring of the process. The reporting, month end close calendars, interaction, and alignment of group strategies with OpCo implementation and transparent reporting on the process adherence and efficiency falls within the roles mandate.
    • The design and implementation of an intercompany solution catering to business needs but ensuring trusted and transparent reporting is a key deliverable from this role. The continuous improvement of the processes while considering Transfer pricing, tax implications and performance reporting is required.

    Other key performance areas include:
    Enterprise Performance Management

    • Design and develop the Oracle Cloud reporting solutions falling under the EPM stack together with the Programme Manager, Project Managers and implementation partners, and
    • Defining the strategy for EPM reporting and implementing it at both a Group and OpCo level
    • Defining and developing the MTN reference reporting architecture and best practices on design to ensure reusability and driving benefits from the implemented solutions.
    • Providing guidance in preparing custom reporting formats

    Manager: Recruitment and Onboarding

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    The Manager: Recruitment & Onboarding is responsible to design, enhance, and deliver recruitment specific activities and processes in order to deliver on unique and evolving business requirements underpinned by best practice. Also, to continuously enhance service delivery, through sourcing, qualifying, and influencing talent recruitment for all levels and all types of positions.
