    Specialist: HR Operations and Employee Services

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • The Specialist: HR Operations & Employee Services is responsible to manage & support Employee Service provisioning and support the HR Operations, Recruitment & Onboarding service delivery
    • Further the role will also provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle
    • Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's)
    • Strategy Development and Implementation
    • Support the delivery of the HR operations & recruitment strategy in line with the overarching business goals

    Operational Delivery

    • Coordinate to manage the storing and safekeeping of all legislative employee related documents (personal records)
    • Ensure employee information is updated into the HR system and physical documents are appropriately kept up-to-date and filed
    • Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle
    • Coordinate to manage day to day employee administration services for employees
    • Ensure high degree of responsiveness and problem solving while managing employee service requests and queries
    • Escalate complex queries and non-standard service requests to SM: HR Operations & Business Partnering in a timely manner
    • Execute, deliver and coordinate on separations procedures in line with the approved policies and processes
    • Ensure compliance to respective internal policies, SLAs and with regulatory requirements

    Governance

    • Ad-hoc Meetings
    • Participate and provide inputs in ad hoc meetings
    • Execute day-to-day operations

    Reporting

    • Collate and prepare appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance reports, in accordance with the measurement metrics set by management
    • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports

    Escalations

    • Notify escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery

    Function Tactical

    • Participate in adhoc and operational meetings
    • Participate and provide input into tactical meetings as and when required

    Performance

    • Assist in monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the performance and service delivery in line with defined SLAs and metrics
    • Assist with monitoring and reviewing the performance of external partners against agreed KPIs and SLAs, escalating risks to managementEnsure effective execution of day-to-day operations and resolve operational issues as they arise

    Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
    Education:

    • Relevant 3-year tertiary Diploma/ Degree  (Human Resources/Behavioural Sciences/equivalent)
    • Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body (advantageous)

    Experience:

    • 2-3  years’ of experience in experience in HR Recruitment and Operations / Employee Service Management
    • At least 1year of experience with a non-traditional FinTech or E-Commerce company specifically in HR operations
    • Experience working in a medium to large organization
    • Experience working in a small to medium organization
    • Experience in ERP (Oracle preferred)
