    Scaled Innovation Specialist

    Key activities will include:

    • Innovation workshop development and facilitation
    • Training of design thinking fundamentals
    • Management of the Innovation Champion network
    • Business model analysis and enhancement
    • Working with teams across the business to drive innovative thinking, facilitate interaction with internal support teams and communicate the appropriate processes required
    • Process optimisation relating to innovation and managing risk and quality
    • To assist with the identification, assessment and reporting of new services and products within Risk Services
    • Strategic input on the implementation of Scaled Innovation across the business
    • Financial management of the Scaled Innovation team
    • Project management of Scaled Innovation initiatives and events
    • Establishing metrics to measure success of team’s projects
    • Networking with xLos staff to aid in driving Scaled Innovation objectives
    • Establishing rapport with event suppliers and facilitating quotation and billing.
    • Oversight of Scaled Innovation travel arrangements for events
    • Integrating GenAI into the operational processes within Scaled Innovation.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bcom or equivalent
    • CA(SA) preferable

    Digital BOS Operations Support

    Responsibilities

    Data Processing

    • Confirm completeness of  data received when processing transactions
    • Interrogate data against a set of business rules and identify any issues
    • Liaise with engagement teams to make the necessary corrections to identified errors or inconsistencies
    • Complete and document the outcome of manual controls as required for xAfrica Operations.  these may include (but are not limited to):
    • Validate Risk and Independence adherence
    • Validate adherence to engagement setup Business Rules
    • Validate role specific access on transactions
    • Validate requirements for inter territory billing
    • Validate requirements for multiple debtors and other complex engagement setups.
    • Validate Line of Service specific requirements ( e.g. existence a working paper file) 

    Africa xBos Systems 

    • Understand the end to end process and identify any inconsistencies 
    • Escalate system errors and exceptions to management as soon as they occur
    • Assist in performing User-Acceptance-Testing (UAT) of new and existing services and systems

    Salesforce DevOps Engineer

    Qualifications /Certifications required: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1
    • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 (desirable)
    • Relevant industry certifications (optional)

    Experience required:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering
    • Proven experience with Salesforce development and administration
    • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar
    • Strong background in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    Responsibilities of role:

    DevOps and CI/CD:

    • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce and other applications.
    • Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
    • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.
    • Manage and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

    Salesforce Development and Administration:

    • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.
    • Manage Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
    • Perform Salesforce data migration and data quality initiatives.
    • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
    • Monitor and optimize Salesforce performance and scalability.

    Technical Support and Collaboration:

    • Provide technical support for Salesforce and DevOps-related issues.
    • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
    • Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Document DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce configurations.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
    • Report on DevOps and Salesforce performance, issues, and improvements to stakeholders.

    Quality Assurance and Testing:

    • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
    • Implement automated testing for Salesforce and other applications.
    • Perform integration and system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of deployments.

    Desirable skill sets include:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices
