    Job Description

    • You will be required to interact with clients, increase sales, and elevate customer experience.     The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

    • Cold Calling, Convert OUTbound lead/quotes to sales in terms of the minimum quantity and quality targets.
    • Interact with customers to offer guidance, point out products, and assist them in making purchasing decisions.
    • You will be required to talk (telephonically) to potential OUTsurance clients and get them interested in signing up by informing them of the benefits that our product holds while adhering to the quality measures in place.
    • Maintain in-depth product knowledge in order to supply customers with the best, accurate information.
    • Utilize persuasion techniques when necessary to close sales
    • Handle customer phone calls and emails in a polite, professional, and prompt manner
    • Work towards achieving individual and team objectives and be accountable for sales results.
    • Perform as a team-player, participate in activities contributing to the overall objectives of the organisation

    Role Overview

    • Our business product offering has grown significantly over the years which has led to the development of the OUTsurance Broker Tied Agent Model.
    • The incumbent of this position will be responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. The individual will sell personal lines and Commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business sales.

    • You will deal with a variety of inbound calls, from making simple changes to existing policies or trying to retain customers who are looking to cancel with us to increase our customer loyalty.

    • The calls you receive will be varied; they could include changes to existing policies, giving quotes, taking payments, supporting claims and supporting customers in financial difficulty

    Working Hours

    You will be required to work the following days and shifts based on a pre-determined roster:

    • 3 weekdays for 8 hours, between 09:00 to 23:15 (combination of days from Monday to Friday)
    • Saturdays from 10:00 to 19:45
    • Sundays from 11:00 to 19:15
    • You will get 1 weekend off in every 4-week cycle BUT will work 1 additional weekday before the weekend off)
    • The successful candidate must be flexible to allow for possible variations to the abovementioned working hours
