    JOB DESCRIPTION

    As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all customer inquiries, store card applications, correspondence, and employment verifications are handled efficiently and professionally.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure customer's queries, correspondence and needs are actioned timeously to provide excellent customer service and avoid backlogs and customer complaints.
    • Telephonically confirm employment and personal details to verify information provided on the store application forms

    Brand Visual Merchandiser Mr Price

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The purpose of this role is to grow market share and maximize sales through leadership and development of seasonal Visual Merchandise (VM) strategies, visual merchandisers within team and brand accountability through regular interaction with key stakeholders (merchant teams, operations teams, marketing and Visual Merchandisers’ in stores and at support centre).                                                                                                                   

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and implement the required brand’s monthly and seasonal VM Strategies through regular interaction with key stakeholders (merchants, marketing, operations, stores, VM Team). 
    • Develop and communicate required brand's monthly and seasonal guides to stores and ensure the guides are in line with the brands strategy and direction, and ensure all mannequins and fixtures meet required standards. 
    • When required, assist with visual merchandising training, down to a store level, to increase the visual merchandising standards in stores. 
    • Identify gaps in the understanding of required VM standards and VM Implementation (in stores) and educate by responding to Empower uploads, in order to improve VM standards in stores.
    • Work closely with the store design team and project store build team, Merchandise Operations Manager (MOM), planners and the marketing team to develop and create floor plans that are aligned with the business strategies. 
    • To develop and manage an end to end process of the development of all floor plans for all new stores, revamps and relocations.
    • To populate and brief all relevant Visual Merchandise orders for all new stores, revamps and relocations.
    • Work closely with and mentor visual display artists, merchandise managers and wider operations team to ensure visual merchandising reflects the brand’s strategy on a store level. 
    • Stay abreast with global visual merchandising trends and find ways to adapt trends to fit the Mr Price value retail model. 
    • Provide innovative ideas for new products/ business concepts to drive customer experience in stores through visual standards. 
    • Work with key stakeholders to ensure that they are up to date with latest brand strategic direction to grow market share and maximize sales in stores. 
    • Attend brand review and seasonal post-mortem with merchants to gain required insight to drive brands in store.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • Graphic Design Degree/ Diploma or Visual Merchandising Qualification equivalent 
    • Min 5 years visual merchandising for a clothing retailer
    • Proficiency with graphics software, Adobe Suite (Photoshop & in- design), illustrator – Sketch Up an added advantage and Microsoft suite

    Experience

    • Solid technical experience in Networking (LAN and WAN management, FW/Routers/Switches/Wifi/DHCP/DNS/DMZ/Edge/Segmentation etc). 
    • Essential understanding of the response required in a Security Operations Centre. 
    • Strong knowledge of design, test solutions, authentication methods, Windows, Apple & Linux operating systems, protocols, Data leakage, Mobile device management, endpoint, application, cloud solutions, identity and access management, penetration testing, web security, strong networking or Microsoft back-end experience. 
    • Scripting and knowledge of the NIST and SANS framework would be advantageous. 
    • Experience in Governance (POPI/Data Protection/PCI/Policy and Procedure) is required. Knowledge of current security risks and protocols, creation of policy, procedure and standards documentation.
    • Management of a Security information and event management environment 
    • Design, test, implementation and support of vulnerability management solutions, authentication methods, email and collaboration tools
    • Windows, Apple & Linux operating systems, protocols, Mobile device management, Intrusion Detection and Prevention software, network, perimeter, endpoint, application, cloud solutions, identity and access management, penetration testing
