    eCommerce and Distribution Executive

    Job Description
    We are seeking a driven and results-oriented E-commerce & Distribution Executive to join our dynamic team in South Africa. You will play a crucial role in maximizing online revenue and distribution for our Minor Hotels properties in the region.

    The scope of this job is to ensure we are competitively represented on our brand and product on all Digital and Distribution channels. This role will serve the needs of the business, our guest and our colleagues by developing and implementing key eCommerce and Distribution strategies to optimize all the distribution channel and advertising digital channels.

    To serve the growing needs of the business and individual hotels by:

    •  Support with eCommerce and Digital Marketing activities for the hotels in the SSA region.
    •  Support Minors Hotels Long-term Digital strategies in line with corporate initiatives.
    •  Managing and optimisation the online presence of the hotels' brand websites and other relevant channels (OTAs, metasearch engines). This includes content creation (descriptions, images).
    •  Ensuring optimal content of the properties as designated in all relevant eCommerce platforms.
    •  Coordinating with hotels the execution of all eCommerce activities for the properties and implementing new eCommerce initiatives to support hotels marketing strategies.
    •  Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team on online marketing initiatives and website functionality.
    •  Developing and optimizing the online content to maximise ranking/visibility of properties on various search engines and channels and on brand.com.
    •  Assisting to conduct feasibility study, ROI and to suggest ways of improving ranking and revenue generation over e‐channels.
    •  Assisting in measuring, analysing, and reporting eCommerce performances and suggesting tactics improvements and new activities.
    •  To assist the revenue team at each property in maximizing revenue and yield through business trend analysis, highlighting areas of opportunity in digital and distribution strategies on an ongoing basis.
    •  To monitor and control that the Dynamic Pricing Strategies is adhered to and promoted with global and local distribution partners.
    •  Utilize channel management tools to ensure optimal distribution across various channels and monitor performance.
    •  Generate reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of eCommerce and distribution efforts.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or hospitality distribution.
    •  At least bachelor’s degree in any related filed.
    •  Very good written & verbal English is essential.
    •  Understating of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay-per-clicks (PPC) tactics.
    •  Understating and management of meta search engines (Tripadvisor, Google Hotel Ads, etc.)
    •  Preferable experience in using Content Management Systems.
    •  Preferable experience in hotel or travel related business.
    •  Preferable experience in OTA, reservations, or usage of channel management.
    •  Analytical skill a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
    •  Project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
    •  Preferable proficient web analytics skills and ability to analyze website performance data (i.e. financial, statistical and /or performance).
    •  Very good use of words, powerpoint, excel is essential.

    Executive Chef

    Job Description

    NH Sandton Johannesburg is looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to oversee the kitchen operations. This integral position will be responsible for all aspects of running the busy and high preforming kitchen, as well as leading and guiding the culinary team

    This role will involve:

    • Supervising kitchen team members, ensuring excellence and consistency in the product delivered to customers.
    • Development of new menus and associated costing.
    • Running stock control and managing all BOH food and wage costs.
    • Enforcing daily and weekly systems and procedures to ensure a high level of presentation, hygiene, service, and product quality.
    • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and food standards.

    Qualifications

    You will have:

    • 3 + years experience working as an Executive Chef
    • Formal culinary qualification
    • Ability to manage a busy kitchen, with a high level of consistency and creativity
    • Strong staff management experience, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a high preforming team
    • Extensive knowledge of OHS/HACCP within a kitchen environment
    • Ability to work well in a high pressure, fast paced environment
    • Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends
    • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    IT Manager

    Job Description

    NH Sandton Johannesburg is looking for an IT Manager who will;

    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the hotel's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
    • Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Develop and manage the IT department budget.
    • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers. Ensure vendor compliance and performance.
    • Implement security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the IT department.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and develop/implement IT strategies aligned for the resort with the organization's business objectives.
    • Resolves high level technical problems timeously.
    • Stay abreast of technological advancements and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.

    Qualifications

    You will have; 

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (3 years or more) in IT management roles.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skill
