    Senior IT Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to Chief Technical Officer, the incumbent will:

    • Contribute to the development of the company’s IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
    • Develop enterprise architecture framework.
    • IT Infrastructure Management oversee the planning, Implementation and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
    • Develop and manage the IT budge, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost effectiveness, monitor and control IT related expenses.
    • Security and compliance – develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and information.
    • Manage IT support and Helpdesk.
    • Disaster Recovery and business continuity Management – Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
    • Implement and Manage systems for performance Monitoring and reporting.
    • Draft RFOs, RFPs
    • Monitor budget performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Implement and Manage knowledge management systems.
    • Develop and implement information security policies.
    • Establish business intelligence tools encompassing data mining, extraction, dissemination of information.
    • Provision of tools to manage applications.
    • Team Leadership and Development of IT team – provide resources in terms of application specialists, database administrators.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • BSc or B Tech in information technology/information systems/computer Engineering or previous requisite experience of at least 7 years of experience in IT management roles.
    • Industry recognised certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNP, CISSP, and relevant vendor specific certifications. Extensive experience in leading and managing IT teams.
    • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and software.
    • Demonstrate success in implementing innovative IT solutions

    Finance Accounting Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Senior Manager: Finance, the incumbent will:

    • Review and process all recorded transactions by accounts payable staff to ensure accuracy, completeness, and validity as well as.
    • Review the accounts payable age analysis for long outstanding items to ensure they are in line with the PFMA regulations.
    • Update all cash books and prepare bank reconciliations.
    • Load payments and issue proof of payments to all parties paid via the bank online system.
    • Recommend changes to financial management policies and procedures and ensure implementation.
    • Provide guidance to accounts payable staff and assist with reconciliation of complex transactions.
    • Maintain the fruitless and wasteful expenditure register and report monthly.
    • Detailed analyses and preparation of reconciliation of specific income statement and balance sheet general ledger accounts.
    • The reconciliations include all treasury related reconciliations, i.e. bank accounts, investment accounts and loan accounts, and monthly follow up and cleaning of reconciling items.
    • Assisting with audit queries.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Minimum requirements bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Higher Diploma in accounting.
    • Completed SAICA articles and plus additional 2 years post articles experience or minimum 5 years’ experience in financial accounting or financial management in a corporate environment.
    • Knowledge of IFRS, PFMA and relevant legislation and regulations impacting on finance functions in organisations and knowledge of electronic financial packages.

    Divisional Coordinator: CTO

    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the incumbent will:

    • Manage the smooth running of the CTO’s office including correspondence, meetings and diary, travel arrangements.
    • Coordinate and review the activities of the outputs, submissions, and updates of all sub-unit activities.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for the records and contract management storage and dissemination of the information within the CTO’s office, including electronic filing and management via SharePoint.
    • Facilitation and coordination of all Human Resources related activities (Performance contracts, Filing, tracking of certain objectives).
    • He/she will be responsible for the follow up and production of divisional management reports, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
    • Coordinate all the meetings, take minutes and all logistical arrangements.
    • Processing claims for the CTO.
    • The candidate will be responsible to maintain professional client and Supplier Liaison.

    Qualification and Experience:

    •  National Diploma in Business/Office Administration/Management or Secretarial qualification
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in general office administration undertaking office management, Data capturing, travel arrangements, Report writing, financial management, Coordinating Departmental activities
    • An understanding of the technical operating environment.
    • Sound general secretarial/PA and office administration experience developed through growing through the ranks of organisations in such roles across functional areas.
    • Experience in dealing with key and senior individuals in organisations, including government.
    • Knowledge of government protocols and hierarchy.
