    Quality Assurance Lead - NED

    • The Manager, Software QA and Testing is a management role, accountable for ensuring the effective planning, control, and coordination of the relevant test program.
    • This role ensures adherence to the test methodology and the quality of their direct line reports output through the application of management principles and test and quality assurance methodology.
    • The Manager, Software QA and Testing, manages a team of individuals to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to relevant operational requirements and takes responsibility for the quality of the software application/module and ensure continuous improvement process is followed.
    • This people management role fosters a collaborative and innovative team cultures focused on operational excellence.

    What you'll be doing

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Works across multiple teams to ensure the planning, execution, reporting, and successful completion of QA activities for all new development cycles for various releases.
    • Contributes to Agile-related user story review meetings and/or work with relevant business stakeholders and developers to understand the new or modified application functionality.
    • Designs and implements end-to-end test scenarios, as well as debugging and defining corrective actions.
    • Contributes to performing and documenting risk analysis and record test progress and results. Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
    • Works across multiple teams to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
    • Creates detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
    • Designs, develops, codes, and executes automation scripts
    • Works across multiple teams to identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs and develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
    • Develops standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
    • Development languages, preference to Java.
    • Object orientated programming (OOP).
    • Mobile test automation.
    • SOAP and RESTFUL services.
    • Use of testing tools and frameworks (eg Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, Karate, Jira, JMeter).
    • Service virtualisation & data virtualisation advantageous.
    • Vulnerability testing advantageous

    Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

    • BSc IT or BCom IT or similar qualification
    • ISTQB Agile foundations cert (advanced preferred).

    Required Experience:

    • Test strategy design
    • Test approach design
    • Test plan and management
    • 4 years management experience
    • Adaptability
    • Stakeholder management
    • Mentoring & coaching SQE & other squad members
    • Bootcamp training in Agile & DevOps.
    • Test analysis & design.
    • Test automation experience.
    • Development experience preferred.
    • Experience in Agile delivery.
    • Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) advantageous.
    • Experience in Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
    • Exposure within a continuous delivery model preferred.
    • Experience in NFT (Performance, load, stress).

    BEE & EE Senior Analyst / Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist

    • We are seeking an experienced BEE & EE Specialist to oversee the monitoring, tracking, reporting, and forecasting of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and Employment Equity (EE) initiatives across our ICT organisation and affiliates. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with BEE & EE legislation and regulations and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on BEE & EE matters. This role requires a strong understanding of South African BEE & EE legislation and regulations, as well as exceptional project management, reporting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    What you'll be doing

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Monitor and track the progress of BEE & EE initiatives across the group. 
    • Provide guidance and oversight on initiatives for achieving BEE & EE compliance in line with regulatory requirements. 
    • Collaborate with HR and other pillars to ensure that recruitment, training, and promotion practices are in line with BEE & EE Plans. 
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on BEE & EE matters, including training and awareness programs. 
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with BEE & EE legislation and identify risks and areas for improvement. 
    • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including BEE verification agencies, government departments, and industry bodies. 
    • Prepare reports and forecasts on BEE & EE initiatives for senior management. 

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. 
    • At least five years of experience in BEE & EE operations management, with a proven track record of achieving compliance. 
    • In-depth knowledge of South African BEE & EE legislation and regulations. 
    • Strong project management and interpersonal skills. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior executives and external stakeholders. 
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 
    • Experience in DEI & CSI programs would be an advantage. 
    • BEE verification accreditation would be an advantage (BEE MDP).
