    Inventory Controller (Fourways)

    Description

    • To assist the National Inventory Manager with inventory related issues in all warehouses and Company Owned Franchises.
    • To assist with inventory issues nationally and assist the inventory controllers in all Company owned Franchises and warehouses.
    • To assist in identifying, maintaining & managing the accuracy of stock levels and stock movement nationally.
    • To ensure all ACDC procedures are implemented, staff are trained in it and that they are following it, providing customer satisfaction and as little as possible errors and damages.
    • To assist the branches in running efficiently with regards to company procedures & inventory related issues.
    • To prepare & do stock takes and ongoing cycle- & range counts.
    • To investigate & resolve any stock variances & stock related issues.
    • To assist in the preparation of warehouses for the audited stock take every financial year end.
    • To ensure that all inventory related reports are cleared and submitted on time. (Weekly & Monthly reports)
    • To ensure the storerooms/lockups are always clean & tidy.
    • To assist where and when needed.

    Daily:

    •  To resolve Discrepancies
    • Range counts
    • Cycle counts
    • Transfer to correct stock between locations in your branches
    • General inventory management
    • Discrepancy & variance investigations for stock in your branches/C.O.F
    • Stock Adjustment requests for your branches/C.O.F
    • Stock queries

    Weekly:

    • Submit the weekly reports (BOF; MULTIPLE BINS; OBSOLETE; OUTSTANDING DISCREPANCIES; IN
    • TRANSIT; BACKORDERS WITH STOCK & ALL OTHER INVENTORY RELATED REPORTS) to the
    • National Inventory manager & the Branch manager.
    • Random Audits and Inspections
    • Warehouse Inspections and reports
    • Ensuring that the branches are running according to the company’s inventory procedures & requirements.

    Monthly:

    • Month-end reports

    Requirements

    • Grade 12/Matric.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification will be highly advantageous.
    • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as an Inventory Controller.

    Office Administration:

    • Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify needs, acquire supplies, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate deliveries when required.
    • Manage company subscriptions, licensing, and insurance claims.
    • Manage all aspects of space and infrastructure planning (e.g., moves, additions, changes to workstations) and provide resources and solutions when requested.

    • Organize events: Plan and coordinate events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale parties, including venue selection, catering, and guest management.
    • Prepare reports: Compile information and prepare reports for personal or business use.
    • Make travel arrangements: Book flights, hotels, and transportation and create detailed travel itineraries.

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric / Grade 12.
    • 2-3 years of experience in office or project management.
    • Experience in the Marketing / Advertising industry or similar exposure is advantageous.

    Description

    • ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and dynamic Credit Controller to contribute to our company’s objectives.

    Purpose of the Role:

    • We are looking to hire an experienced credit controller to expertly manage the debts of our company. As a credit controller, you will be responsible for collecting debts from our company debtors, evaluating new credit requests, ensuring timely payments of company debts,  managing all queries, and providing administrative support.
    • To ensure success as a credit controller, you should have a good eye for detail and the ability to reconcile complex company accounts. Ultimately, a top-class credit controller can maximize company profits by efficiently managing its debts.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Collecting Debt (High volumes).
    • Reconciliations to customer remittances (high transaction volume accounts).
    • Calculation and allocation of settlement discounts.
    • Query resolving with other ACDC departments such as Sales, Repairs and Returns.
    • Attending to daily customer queries via email and telephone.
    • Compiling Bad debt handover packs when needed.
    • Updating various finance related shared Microsoft schedules.

    Requirements

    • This position should be someone that is a self-starter, dedicated to her/his work, with great attention to detail
    • Minimum 5 years full credit control experience
    • Prepared to work on Saturdays as and when needed

    Repairs Technician (Workshop) Longmeadow (Longmeadow)

    Description

    • We are seeking an experienced repairs technician who will be responsible for repairing and testing all our electrical products. Incumbent will assist with fault-finding on equipment and ensure repairs are completed within the specified timeframe ensuring excellent customer service.

    Key Performance Arears

    • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
    • Troubleshooting, repairing malfunctioning equipment: - Electronics, Inverters, UPS and AVR’s.
    • Report writing skills.
    • Handling customer technical enquiries.
    • Troubleshooting and repairs on customer products
    • Running back orders and ensuring repairs are conducted within specified turnaround time as per repair policy

    • Stock control within the workshop using hand tools and measuring equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeter etc.
    • Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
    • Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
    • Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment
    • Examining customers' appliances and identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns.
    • Performing maintenance work on customers' appliances.
    • Providing rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
    • Repairing or replacing defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers.
    • Advising customers on how to use appliances correctly.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience repairing, installing, and maintaining home appliances.
    • The ability to use various hand tools.
    • The ability to stand for extended periods.
    • The ability to lift heavy objects.
