    Full Time Lecturer - Supply Chain and Logistics

     Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lecture and facilitate Student Support workshops and subject specific tutorials as required, including work readiness programme, student developmental workshops and literacy programmes.
    • Lecture and facilitate experiential learning sessions with relevant programme groups and modules within the lecturer’s field of expertise.
    • Develop teaching & learning capacity and standards on campus by assisting the Academic Development Co-ordinator with peer assessments of teaching, provide teaching feedback, quality assurance reviews. Assist contract lecturers with: -marking, monitoring and control of plagiarism, mentor and supervise of new Independent Contracted Lecturers and Tutors, moderation of scripts of new lecturers, how they give feedback to students, how they monitor student satisfaction, how they respond and provide feedback.
    • Organize and facilitate teaching skills and lecturer developmental workshops Assist the Academic Development Consultant in tracking student performance and monitoring At-Risk-Students
    • Student intervention through one-on-one consultation in respect of poor performance and/or attendance; based on specific performance issues, and general skills and challenges such as time management.
    • Ensure academic conventions are communicated and taught on campus and preparation, lecturing and marking in relevant discipline according to timetable.
    • Work with the librarians on information literacy for students and lecturer, promotion of information literacy, promotion, and use of Ebscohost. Assist in programme design of student support developmental workshop topics which could include, but not be limited to: Study skills and academic convention workshops.
    • Under the direction of the Academic Development Consultants, coordinate and run lecturer forums and faculty meetings, co-ordinate and manage initiatives to improve output of tutors. Assist and support Work Integrated Learning (WIL) initiatives on campus.
    • Do research, development to support skills, which will include but not be limited to book reviews academic articles, faculty Bytes, celebrating Teaching & Learning and attend developmental workshops.
    • Attend National and IIE workshops.
    • Support the academic team to ensure that deadlines are met, student queries are resolved within agreed time frames, administration processes completed.
    • Support overall campus activities; i.e registration of student’s orientation, open days, Internal and external audits.

     Minimum Requirements:

    • Honours (NQF Level 8) in Supply Chain or Logistics .
    • 2 years teaching or formal tutoring experience.

    Programme Manager - Commerce

    Job purpose:

    • To ensure the implementation of academic policy, quality Teaching-Learning and to oversee the role played by Programme Coordinators and Lecturers in this regard.
    • To conduct Lecturer Peer Reviews as identified by Programme Coordinators through observation and moderation.
    • To conduct workshops and consultations with students and to develop and implement orientation and development plans with Lecturers, by monitoring and reviewing these a year after implementation.
    • Results analysis to ensure that programmes are results-driven through interventions and evaluation.

    Student Advisor

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Represent Rosebank College to targeted constituencies; visit high schools, speak to groups and individual students; and meet with school counsellors, administrators, and/or other constituent groups to promote outreach activities.
    • Develops, coordinates, and delivers outreach programs and marketing strategies, including community workshops, retreats, and related recruitment efforts; arranges visits and tours for prospective students and parents.
    • Serves independently as the point person for internal coordination of college student recruitment and enrolment management goals utilizing specific knowledge gained of admissions, registration criteria, and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
    • Provides career and academic counselling, planning, and advising to potential students utilizing specific knowledge gained of the colleges, educational programs, and degrees.
    • Independently develops and maintains partnerships between the college, local school systems, alumni networks, faculty, community partners, and other identified groups throughout the assigned territory/population.
    • Coordinates college participation of staff and alumni for national and local college recruitment fairs, conferences, and related outreach events; coordinates event-specific organizational aspects, promotional materials, and information from the college, educational programs, and degrees.

    Sales Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Generate leads by using marketing campaigns (digital/media) to acquire stakeholder contact information. Growing the quality and quantity of the database.
    • Database Management/Analysis- Monitor student advisor activity through information uploaded on the Student Information System (SIS). Ensures that data is captured correctly on SIS. Establish target markets and focus groups through the data, based on historical application rates.
    • Provides input into the annual forecasting and budgeting process.
    • Mentoring and monitoring of staff daily activities. Trains and develops student advisors by applying a rotational learning programme.
