    Accountant (SAIPA)

    Your value to the group / responsibilities will include:

    • Preparation of individual company accounts from source documents to management accounts
    • Reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts
    • Resolution of unreconciled items and non-standard transaction treatment
    • Preparation of punctual and meaningful reports across business lines
    • Analysis of monthly and quarterly accounts for reporting purposes
    • Maintenance of control schedules across group accounts

    Desired Skills: 

    • Bachelors Degree in Finance or similar qualification
    • Completed SAIPA articles
    • Experience in reporting to provide concise and incisive information for business units
    • Strong numeracy and excel skills, as well as practical experience with accounting systems (Xero, Pastel, Sage, VIP)
    • Self-motivated and disciplined with attention to detail
    • Must be able to multi-task, adhere to deadlines and be prepared to work overtime as required.

    Commis Chef -Somerset West

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of six months relevant experience in a similar environment
    • Accredited culinary accreditation for the role
    • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings
    • Positive attitude and good communication skills

    Human Resources Manager

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Coordinate and oversee all office activities to ensure a high-performance work environment
    • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment and IT management
    • Assist with the day-to-day human resources administration e.g. recruitment, on boarding and leave management
    • Answer all channelled human Resources administration-related queries from colleagues and managers

    Banking Administrator

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Process all payments daily
    • Preparing payments lists for pay runs
    • Uploading beneficiaries on online banking systems after verification
    • Ensure all payments are fully authorized
    • Print proof of payments, save on SharePoint and send to customers and managers
    • Download supplier invoices from POS, save on SharePoint and mail to customers
    • Processing foreign exchange payments, booking FX rates and submitting supporting documents
    • Preparing and attending to all banking applications (financing and cards etc.)
    • Availability after hours for unplanned payments and transfers
    • Attend to all bank related queries

    Requirements:

    • A Matric Certificate
    • Bookkeeping diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Transparent honesty and reliability
    • Assertive and effective communication
    • Strong administrative skills
    • Intermediate level computer literacy (Windows, MS Word and Excel)

    Fixed Asset Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the FAR for the group and its subsidiaries
    • Monthly FAR reporting
    • Monthly management of related FAR insurance and compliance
    • Transfer / disposal / acquisition / depreciation of assets as per authorized requests
    • Prepare monthly operational reports
    • Traveling to various sites

     Requirements:

    • Accounting degree or diploma (BTech in Accounting, B.Comm or similar)
    • 1-2 years’ accounting experience in a similar role
    • Sound understanding of accounting processes and control requirements
    • Ability to document and implement financial processes in a large organization
    • Strong excel skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data
    • Must have reliable own transport and valid driver’s license
