    Facilities Maintenance Staff - SPARK Schools - Midrand Region - 2023

    Reports To: School Operations Manager

    Position Purpose:

    SPARK Schools inside facilities maintenance staff ensure that the school building is well maintained and clean. Inside facilities maintenance staff are integral to the SPARK Schools “culture” and our commitment to providing a world-class learning environment for our scholars.

    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain the upkeep of the school building, gardens, and grounds.
    • Report facilities maintenance issues to school leadership and assist with repairs where applicable.
    • Ensure that the school premises are safe for students, staff and parents.
    • Assist with welcoming students during daily arrivals and dismissals, as required by school leadership.
    • Manage tools and equipment, reporting any damaged or lost items to school leadership for fixing or replacement.

    Primary School Maths Teacher (IP) - Temp - SPARK Schools JHB South

    Reports To: Principal or Assistant Principal

    Purpose of Role:

    SPARK Schools maths teachers drive student achievement by maintaining high expectations for classroom culture, behaviour, and academic growth for all students. SPARK Schools maths teachers are content specialists, who receive on­going professional development customised for their past experience and individual needs.

    Maths teachers are integral to the SPARK School’ “culture” and our commitment to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our scholars.     Responsibilities:

    • Plan for and be prepared to deliver lessons to students from 7:45­-3:30 pm (depending on grade level assignment and timetable) daily within content area specialisation.
    • Collaborate with grade level and content area partners to develop rigorous, engaging learning experiences and to create individualised behaviour and learning plans for all students.

    Primary School Principal - SPARK Carlswald - 2023

    Reports To: School Achievement Manager

    Purpose of Role:

    The Principal drives student achievement by leading a team of excellent staff to prepare SPARK scholars for university and beyond. The Principal sets a rigorous vision for student achievement and implements strategic steps to lead staff, families, students, and the greater community to fulfill that vision. The Principal collaborates with the Assistant Principal(s) and School Operations Manager to uphold high expectations for school culture, student achievement, and professional development.

    The Principal drives decision ­making within the SPARK Schools model in terms of the instructional program and school operations to ensure that every SPARK scholar is academically successful and an excellent representative of the SPARK core values. The Principal is integral to the SPARK Schools “culture” and our commitment to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our scholars.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement a highly rigorous and engaging instructional program that promotes content mastery, creative problem solving, and character development, which is consistent with SPARK Schools’ mission and vision.

    Customer Service Agent (Temporary) - SPARK Schools Support - Rosebank

    Purpose of Role:

    The Customer Service Agent will play a key role in the day to day operations of the Customer Services Team. As the first point of contact with customers, existing parents, academic and school operations team members, this position will play an integral role in providing memorable and delightful customer experiences across all communication channels.

    This Agent will act as a single point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, including taking ownership of and resolving all their queries or challenges with a sense of urgency. In addition, the Customer Service Agent will be required to be accountable until a resolution is reached.

    As a representative, the Customer Service Agent will need to supply information to potential customers about the product, follow up with current clients about satisfaction, and solicit new customers. Additionally, customer input is provided to developers and researchers to supply information for potential future product development.


    This role will entail proactively managing leads and converting prospects or opportunities to finalise their online application forms. It is imperative for this person to continuously follow up with prospective parents to ensure quick turnaround times for application finalisation and the submission of all the required documentation within Service Level Agreements.

    Requirements

    • Actively engage all leads (Expressions of Interest) received within the required service levels to ensure the team achieves specified conversion ratios.
    • Contact potential clients and sell SPARK products with focus on filling our Schools Network to 100% capacity.
