    Head: Student Recruitment

    Job Description

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Presentations (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

    • Monthly booking and presentation target achievement as per set schools priority targets and final year undergraduate students for postgraduate studies.
    • Weekly report on schools to manage sales team by priority and owner (Senior Student Advisor/Student Advisor) for presentations completed, booked, contacted and uncontacted.
    • Weekly report on each sales team members achievement to weekly presentation target.
    • Conduct individual weekly meetings with sales team, to address performance and where appropriate put corrective action in place.

    Database Collection (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

    • Achievement of monthly schools database collection target as per set schools priority targets.
    • Achievement of final year undergraduate database collection target.
    • Weekly report on each sales team members achievement to weekly database collection target.
    • Conduct individual weekly meetings with sales team, to address performance and where appropriate put corrective action in place.        

    Interviews (Undergraduate)

    • Achieve weekly, monthly and annual campus interview target.
    • Weekly updated breakdown on campus interview count by priority for campus, Junior Student Advisors, Student Advisors, Senior Student Advisors.
    • Weekly report on each sales team members achievement to weekly interview collection target.
    • Conduct individual weekly meetings with sales team, to address performance and where appropriate put corrective action in place.

    Applications (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

    • Achieve weekly, monthly and annual campus application target.
    • Weekly updated breakdown on campus application count by priority for campus, Junior Student Advisor, Student Advisor and Senior Student Advisor.
    • Weekly report on each sales team members achievement to weekly application target.
    • Conduct individual weekly meetings with sales team, to address performance and where appropriate put corrective action in place.                                                                                                           

    Admissions (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

    • Oversee the admissions funnel with each staff member to ensure that sales does what is required to push students through to offer status including securing all necessary correctly certified documentation.
    • Drive payments of pre-registration fees upon acceptance with sales team.
    • Work closely with admissions to ensure that offers are issued and admissions are approved accurately and timeously.                                                                                                         

    Registration (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)                                                                          

    • Achieve new undergraduate and postgraduate student registration campus target.

    Quality Sales Management (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

    • Training of new sales staff on presentation and interview script, product knowledge, STASY and all sales processes to ensure they are ready for national sign-off.
    • Training and development of Sales Team in order to prevent staff from unnecessarily progressing through Sales Tracking.
    • Fostering Team relations and building trust with team.
    • More effective communicating to achieve better motivation within Sales Team.
    • Ownership of the Sales process, tactical thinking, strategic orientation and capacity planning.
    • Data integrity across all reporting platforms to meet the quarterly targeted benchmarks set by National Office.
    • Timely submission of sales related reports on a weekly basis.                                         

    Customer Service

    • Conduct regular school relationship check-in's to ensure the Sales team are delivering the required level of customer service.
    • Regularly monitor Sales teams service delivery to ensure they are adhering to required response turn-around times and conducting themselves professionally in all customer interactions.
    • Based on Mystery shopper results were required put corrective actions in place to ensure Sales teams meet the required standards.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

    • Minimum of Advanced Diploma or Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) 
    • Postgraduate qualification advantageous

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 4 years management experience and 5 years sales and marketing experience.

    Special Conditions:

    • Candidate must be willing to work extended hours during our peak Registration periods.
    • Own car and driver's license required.

    Student Advisor (Undergraduate)

    Job Description
    Direct Reporting Line:
    Campus Head

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Presentation Target

    • Deliver engaging presentations at targeted schools, showcasing the benefits of our institution.
    • The ability to deliver a great presentation to potential students is crucial.
    • Distribute marketing materials and interact with students to generate interest and enquiries.
    • Represent our brand at career expos and other stakeholder events.
    • Achieve monthly presentation targets as per school priorities.

    Database Collection

    • Meet monthly targets for collecting school databases to expand our reach.

    Interview Target

    • Make proactive calls to prospective students, scheduling interviews to meet daily and weekly targets.
    • Follow up on online applications, ensuring proof of payments and scheduling appointments.
    • Provide prompt responses to online and telephonic enquiries.
    • Conduct interviews following an established script, building rapport with students and parents.
    • Achieve individual targets for weekly, monthly and annual interviews.

    Application Target

    • Assist students with the online application process during interviews, securing applications on the spot.
    • Follow up with unpaid online applications and ensuring payment is completed.
    • Conduct regular calling campaigns to convert interviews into applications.
    • Drive application acceptance and pre-registration fee payment.
    • Achieve individual targets for weekly, monthly and annual applications.

    Registration Target

    1. Support the campus by converting applications to registrations to achieve the annual campus registration target.

    Administration and Reporting

    • Maintain accurate daily reports, including call reports and interview booking trackers and the CRM system.
    • Ensure interview forms are completed correctly and applications have valid supporting documentation.
    • Update relevant systems and reports as required by the Head: Student Recruitment.

    Competencies Required:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents and stakeholders.
    • The ability to deliver a compelling presentation at schools is crucial.
    • Friendly, tenacious, and target-driven mindset with exceptional organisational abilities.
    • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • National Diploma (NQF6) with 3 years sales experience (preferred) OR,
    • Alternatively, minimum of National Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with 5 years sales experience.
    • Special Requirement:
    • Driver's license and own vehicle essential

    Lecturer: School Of Finance And Accounting

    Job Description
    Direct Reporting Line:
    Programme Manager: Finance & Accounting

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Lecturing

    • Lecture on programmes (must lecture on an IIE qualification) across various modes of delivery where relevant.
    • Marking of assessments and feedback to students in subjects lectured. May be required to internally moderate assessments scripts that fall within their subject fields, where necessary across IIE sites of delivery.

    Lecturer Development and Support

    • Assist in lecturer development and support processes and procedures. This may include conducting peer reviews, facilitating workshops and one-on-one consultations.

    Student Development & Support

    • Championing/leading and managing academic development and support for a specific programme and its students.
    • Tracking student success and implementing support interventions where required. 

    Research & Scholarship

    • The incumbant is required to promote a culture of scholarship within their practice, discipline and campus/team and is also required to contribute towards The IIE’s Varsity College achieving its annual research output targets.

    Competencies Required:

    • Superior communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage work and self proactively.
    • Able to demonstrate a proven track record of effective teaching in subject area based on a reflective practice.
    • Able to demonstrate the ability to manage relationships with managers and staff effectively in terms of motivation, quality and performance.
    • Passion for Customer Service.
    • Experience in the use of technology to enhance learning is an added advantage.

    Minimum Qualifications Requirements:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor of Accounting Degree or BCom Degree plus Postgraduate qualification with majors in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Finance, Taxation and Auditing.
    • CA (SA) qualification or Master’s Degree in the relevant field of study.

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 year Teaching and Learning experience in field of qualification (preferably in teaching environment) is advantageous
    • Candidates with Auditing experience will be given preference

    Preference will be given to EE candidates
