    Network Developer - Port Elizabeth

    What You Have Done Before

    Baseline: 

    • NQF level 7 (Degree in Commerce, Law, Finance, Property Studies, Urban Planning or related fields) 
    • 5 years experience in Commercial Negotiations or Project Management
    • Ability to prepare, monitor and review annual plans and budgets within designated geography. 
    • Deep knowledge of finance, budgeting forecasting, contracting and business analysis techniques 
    • Sound understanding of property investment economics.
    • Experience working with project evaluation tools 
    • Experience with construction teams to ensure optimum project delivery 
    • 5-years’ experience in assessing opportunities and making recommendations on investments
    • Proven track record of success in a property environment

    Senior Engineering Technician - Port Elizabeth

    Purpose of the Job

    Provide Commercial with an efficient, professional engineering service that delivers a cost effective and competitive logistical and manufacturing infrastructure.

    Who You Are

    • You are able to lead and manage project teams and Engen appointed contractors.
    • You have worked in a Petrochemical industry providing an Engineering support to the Commercial and Lubes Sales Divisions to include Mining; Transport; Construction; Industry; Chemicals; Reseller; Truckstops; Bulk Fuel Bulk sector.
    • You have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, project management, Software i.e. AutoCAD, MS Projects, Excel and data analysis skills
    • You are an expert in planning and organizing.

    What you’ll have done before::

    • At least 5-10 years Engineering capacity within the Petrochemical industry related experience
    • NQF 7 BSc Mechanical Engineering / B Tech Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.

    • ECSA Registration (Professional Engineer | Professional Engineering Technologist) Advantageous

    What you’ll be doing

    • Provide Commercial with an efficient, professional engineering service that delivers a cost effective and competitive logistical and manufacturing infrastructure.

    INFRASTRUCTURAL DESIGN 

    • Signed off scope of work by the customer/ Engineering department
    • Operates as per design and scope of work approved
    • Design documented, meets requirements of customer
    • Preform a physical estimate of capital and operational requirements
    • Ensure that all relevant legal requirements are met

    HSEQ COMPLIANCE

    • Perform and close mandatory and company audits 
    • Participation and support of audits to minimise incidents
    • Audit findings closed as agreed with business
    • Meets objectives of HSEMS and MCF with improvement
    • Initial environmental and emergency response management
    • Communicate HSEQ procedures and ensure compliance to HSEQ and MOC policies and procedures
    • HSEQ liability /cost of rehabilitation/improvements

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • Construction of new builds and/or refurbishment/upgrading of existing infrastructure as per design
    • Operational as per project plan
    • Design documented, meets requirements of customer 
    • Ensure improved infrastructure efficiencies and deliver more as per project motivation

    INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE

    • Report indicating actual vs benchmark in the following areas 
    • Reduced downtime
    • Extension of asset life
    • Continuous improvement to achieve nameplate capacity
    • Increased safety and environmental control
    • Review areas to outsource non-critical (as defined) maintenance activities

    Plant Maintenance Supervisor - Waltloo

    Purpose of the Job

    To plan and undertake the plant maintenance function in order to assure physical assets integrity of the Depot/Terminal such that all HSEQ and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.

    Who you are

    • 2 years’ experience in a Supervisory role
    • Experience in Inventory/ Asset Management

    What you’ll be doing

    BUDGET ADMINISTRATION

    • Provide input into business plan/budget ensure management of costs as planned. 
    • Track monthly cost centre spend, generate monthly cost control report and report on variances.

    MAINTENANCE PLANNING & SCHEDULING

    • Ensure adequate planning around preventative maintenance strategies and adhere to approved maintenance schedule.
    • Ensure that audit indicates full compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, eliminate repeat findings on 920 and other HSEQ inspections.
    • Manage the SAP AM/PM systems.

    MAINTENANCE EXECUTION

    • Reduced downtime and equipment failure and lower maintenance costs (within budget), all maintenance statutory requirements are met.
    • Ensure that asset register is up to date. 

    CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT

    • Ensure issuing of work permits (PTW) and effective management of contractors on site, and  all contractors adhere to remedial action plans. 

    CUSTOMER & STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION

    • Adhere to customer and stakeholder policy and procedure, provide and customers SLAs 
    • Conduct audits on customer for compliance to governance and business procedures.
    • Liaise with contractor on deliverables and follow up on timelines and performance measures
