    Back Orders Clerk (Longmeadow)

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

    We require a dynamic Back Orders Clerk to request stock from branches for items on back order & to cancel back orders no longer required.   Incumbent will follow up on backorders and expedite the process. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Request stock for sales agents
    • Request stock for branches
    • Cancel back orders
    • Clear obsolete items from the back-orders list
    • Complete and follow up on back orders report for sales agents
    • Authorizations to request stock from other locations
    • Follow up on outstanding requisitions
    • Maintain and process requests via the “ORB” system 
    • Document and follow up with purchasing on back orders with no stock 
    • Transformers back orders – report
    • Stock checks
    • Administrate staff sample accounts

    Requirements

    • 2 years of sales in an electrical environment
    • Admin or similar role experience
    • Accpac experience preferred

    • ACDC Dynamics, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Salesman to join our team. This position is based at our retail store in Gezina and plays a crucial role in providing excellent service and support to our customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products based on their needs.
    • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge to inform customers and enhance sales opportunities.
    • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Follow up diligently on orders to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive counter area.
    • Ensure all customers leave the store satisfied with their purchases and overall experience.

    Electrician - Solar (Milnertin)

    Description

    • The Solar Electrician will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panels They will work with a variety of different equipment, including inverters,  batteries and other components that help convert sunlight to usable energy .  Must understand electrical systems to properly install and maintain solar systems.

    Main duties/tasks and responsibilities

    • Installing solar panel arrays in residential and commercial settings, including on roofs, walls, and ground mounts
    • Connecting electrical components such as inverters, batteries, and charge controllers to ensure that they operate properly
    • Installing wiring and other electrical components in new construction projects, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential homes
    • Meeting with clients to discuss project goals and requirements
    • Installing photovoltaic (PV) systems in residential and commercial settings, including roof top systems and standalone systems
    • Installing electrical wiring and equipment, such as transformers and switchgear, to support solar power systems
    • Installing and maintaining solar power generation equipment, such as photovoltaic panels, solar water heaters, solar pool heating systems, and solar hot water systems
    • Installing batteries, battery boxes, and other battery components for solar power systems
    • Installing wiring for solar energy systems in homes and businesses, including mounting solar panels, wiring panels to the main electrical box, connecting batteries or other energy storage devices to the system

    Maintenance Technician - Riverhorse

    Purpose of the Role

    We are hiring a maintenance officer to perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
    • Performing preventative maintenance.
    • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
    • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
    • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
    • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.

    Requirements

    • Proven maintenance experience.
    • Valid Drivers License  as you will need to travel to the various branches.
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Related degree from a technical college.
    • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
    • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
    • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.
    • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
    • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
    • Experience performing routine maintenance.
    • Strong organizational and follow up skills.

    Repairs Technician (Milnertin/Century City)

    Purpose:

    We are looking for a skilled Repairs Technician to join our team. This role involves repairing and testing a wide range of electrical and electronic products. The successful candidate will be adept at fault-finding and ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, with a focus on excellent customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assembling and Testing: Assemble, evaluate, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
    • Fault-Finding and Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, including electronics, inverters, UPS systems, and AVRs.
    • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on repair activities and outcomes.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Education: N6 in Light Current or equivalent qualifications.

    Driver - ACDC Express - Somerset West, Western Cape

    Job Description: 

    • As a Driver at ACDC Express, you will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of customer orders, as well as assisting in our warehouse operations as needed. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate service to our clients while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
