    Credit Controller Assistant - Durban

    • The Credit Controller Assitant position is responsible for to perform all accounting related functions as required by Credit Control.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • A matric certificate and the willingness to further your studies to ultimately meet the requirements of the position is essential.
    • Diploma in credit management would be advantageous.

    Experience Requirements    

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG credit control function
    • 2-3 years’ experience in customer liaising.
    • 2-3 years’ experience working on Excel, Word, and other Microsoft packages.

    Key Outputs    

    • Daily printing of stock return claims received electronically from customers and submit to Credit Controllers and relevant sites.
    • Releasing of orders
    • Ensure credits are passed and investigated timeously.
    • Weekly follow up with sites and stores regarding stock return claims that need to be credited.
    • Verifying validity of Free stock documents together with approvals.
    • Free stock reconciliation
    • RM system customer master maintenance – up to date via MDM
    • Daily follow up with relevant sites for free stock documentation.
    • Assist Credit Control department with Ad-hoc related duties, releasing of orders, processing customer payments, and debtors’ reconciliations.
    • Communication with Customer Managers to obtain necessary authorisation to process claims
    • Assist in compiling daily and monthly reports.

    POD Clerk - Potchefstroom

    Purpose of the job:

    •  To file all credit notes, POD’s, invoices, and related documentation accurately and timeously.

    Responsibilities:

    • File documents.
    • Reconciling (relief).
    • Check POD requirements.
    • Prepare documents for scanning purposes.
    • POD/Credit note register.
    • POD requests.
    • Payments received – cash and cheques.
    • Make up deposits.
    • Hand over cash (Cash Company).
    • Cash and cheque reconciliations.
    • Admin and other ad hoc functions

    Qualification Requirements    
    Qualification:

    • Grade 12 with Maths
    • Experience Requirements    

    Experience:

    • 1- 3 years’ experience in a high volume, filing environment
