• To monitor and evaluate customer interactions through any channel or medium within the relevant Contact Centre for adherence to the Risk Execution frameworks. To gather all monitored information and compile into logical reports and provide analysed feedback to relevant stakeholders with the view to provide trends and insight on how to improve quality and proactively mitigate risks in their environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Matric
• RE (Regulatory Examination) advantage 
• NQF Level 5 - Higher Certificates  
• FAIS Compliant advantage.

Experience

• 5 years’ experience in Customer Service or Sales Call centre experience (Compulsory) 
• Product Knowledge: Funeral and Credit Life (Compulsory) 
• General Insurance knowledge (Long Term Insurance) Compulsory
• 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (Advantage) 
• 2 years supervisory experience (Advantage)

Job Description

• To manage any assigned client relationships, (where applicable) with support from experienced relationship managers, across the end to end client engagement value chain, coordinating the origination and execution of client centric solutions ensuring the clients' needs are fulfilled, while managing risk, delivering exceptional client experience and contributing towards defined revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce or related disciplines 
• 3-4 years proficient knowledge of Standard Bank Group value proposition (including  products, services, and capabilities) and internal processes to develop the capability to represent CIB in client facing interactions, and support the end to end provision of flow and structured solutions to clients. Ensure any assigned clients remain up to date on the products and services relevant to their needs and credit analysis.
• 3-4 years experience in conducting research, analysis, interpreting and packaging qualitative and quantitative data. Sound experience in compiling client documentation (pitch books, RFP's etc.)
• 3-4 years experience in portfolio management demonstrating  internal stakeholder collaboration, query management, compliance, reporting, middle office support

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To assist in the implementation of IFRS 17 within SIL reinsurance. In particular, to assist with the data preparation and monthly reporting for IFRS 17 purposes.To assist the Manager, to ensure that SIL always has effective reinsurance in place in line with approved Risk Appetite.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-year BSc or BCom with actuarial majors
• Honours is an advantage
• Member of Actuarial Society of South Africa /Member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. 
• At least 6 exemptions / actuarial exam passes 

Experience Required

• 3-5 years’ actuarial experience.
• Reinsurance and reserving experience is preferred.
• IFRS 17 experience preferred.
• Experience with data is preferred.
• Experience in the short-term insurance is preferred.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of statistics.
• Understanding of insurance business principles. 
• Understanding of balance sheet structures and capital implications.
• Knowledge of actuarial processes and control cycle (reserving, capital modelling).
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance products.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or IFRS 4.
• Knowledge of the product development process.
• Understanding of how the FSCA operates.
• Understanding of the economic environment.
• Knowledge of South African insurance regulation.
