    Central Planner

    Key responsibilities, amongst others, will include:

    • Managing store budgets and identifying opportunities for stock turn improvements
    • Preparing pre-season store plans, preparing corporate guidelines aligned to merchandise strategy
    • New & Revamp store viabilities and strategy as well as profiling planned
    • Monitoring new and revamp stores with monthly feedback to merchants with opportunities
    • Managing store grids seasonally
    • Managing Omni Channel Stock and Sales levels
    • Managing Aged stock levels in line with Company Strategy
    • Working alongside allocation team to execute allocation and assortment strategy
    • Managing the flow if stock through the DC
    • Month end financial pack inclusive of all reports
    • To achieve the above through building constructive and mutually beneficial relationships with key functions within the business.

    The ideal candidate for this position should have:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification
    • 5+ years’ proven merchandise distribution and planning experience
    • A high degree of numeracy and an analytical. detailed and strategic approach to work
    • Strong business acumen, merchant thinking, as well as store and customer understanding
    • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent negotiating skills
    • A high degree of decision making ability
    • Service orientated and self-motivated
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Assertive communication skills and the ability to communicate and develop relationships at all levels
    • Computer literacy
    • Knowledge of Logility System advantageous

    Product Planner

    As a Merchandise Planner, your responsibilities will be:

    • Influencing and implementing the relevant brand’s merchandise strategy
    • Financial and strategic management of the various products e.g. product planning, controlling open-to-buy, reviewing weekly & monthly figures
    • Management of the range assortments and replenishment
    • Management and implementation of distribution strategy e.g. analysing stores profiles & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster
    • Ensure product plan meet location plan targets and correct stock allocations meet sales targets
    • Ensure agreed KPI’s are met i.e. sales, stock flow, markdowns & IMU
    • To monitor in season trade and react accordingly
    • OTB management to ensure product opportunities are capitalized on
    • Responsible for allocations
    • Communication with stores and field

    To apply you need to have:

    • Proven working experience as a Planner 3-5 years at least.
    • 3 Year Tertiary institution relevant business diploma or degree
    • A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
    • Computer literacy in word, excel and planning systems
    • Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
    • Good organisational and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Proven decision-making ability
    • Strong affiliation to systems, utilising them to increase productivity in line with the merchandise strategy

    Allocator

    Responsibilities:

    • Working with Planners and Buyers to fully implement the Merchandise Strategy
    • Planning Allocation for stores
    • Store and merchandise-related analysis
    • Liaising with suppliers, stores and the Distribution Centre regarding queries
    • Monitoring the delivery of stock and take appropriate action
    • Replenishment management
    • Effective communication with stores and field
    • Monitoring product performance to take appropriate action
    • Regular store visits where appropriate
    • Reporting and feedback regarding store performance
    • Analytical analysis shared and action presented
    • Build relationship and present feedback/performance to trading division as required

    Requirements:

    Store Manager (45hr) - American Swiss - Rustenburg Mall

    Position Description:

    • The Store is in need of achievement-orientated Store Manager with excellent customer service and people management skills. These positions require retail experience, a flair for visual merchandising and a good head for figures and administration

    Responsibilities:

    • Driving turnover to ensure achievement of targets
    • Controlling expenses
    • Managing stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with the Company standard
    • People management, including recruitment, development of staff, employee relations, performance management
    • Executing in-store merchandising strategy and standards
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by executing our customer service strategy and fulfilling the demands of our customers
