    Retail Manager

    Purpose of the position:

    • The incumbent is responsible for the ongoing management and administration of

    the shop.
    Responsibilities will include the following:

    • Controlling purchases
    • Sales and marketing
    • Stockholding
    • Budgeting
    • Personnel management
    • Relevant general administrative tasks
    • Risk management

    Minimum requirements:

    • Grade 12 certificate
    • Tertiary qualification will be beneficial

    Compliance Officer - Lichtenburg

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

    • The incumbent is responsible for handling all statutory compliance functions, general administration, as well as providing assistance to the Group Company Secretary.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensuring that all entities in the NWK group comply with all relevant statutory provisions, King IV and the Generally Accepted
    • Compliance Practice principles, which include identifying all relevant statutory provisions which may apply either directly or indirectly to the NWK group of companies;
    • Ensuring development, implementation, management and maintenance of compliance risk management programmes for the
    • NWK group of companies;
    • Providing training to all personnel in the NWK group in respect of objective law as a whole, which includes identifying training and awareness needs, designing training courses, followed by ensuring assessment of course attendees;
    • Monitoring the compliance of the NWK group, in line with South African legislation, as well as any other country where the NWK group conducts business, which includes the use of adequate, consistent and substantive reviews to determine if controls are properly executed;
    • Assisting with routine monitoring in collaboration with the Assurance Services Department and reporting compliance and noncompliance to the relevant forum within the NWK group;
    • Reporting to management, as well as the Social and Ethics Committee in consultation with the Group Company Secretary of NWK Limited; as well as
    • Supporting the Group Company Secretary with any fundamental transactions and administrative tasks necessary.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • The suitable candidate must at least have a law degree (LLB, BCom Law, BJuris or BProc), or an honours degree in Risk
    • Management / Internal Audit, or a CPrac designation from the Compliance Institute of South Africa.
    • At least two years' relevant experience;
    • Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal).

    Technician - Lichtenburg

    Purpose of the position:

    • The incumbent is mainly responsible for the general repairs and installation of shock absorbers, brake shoes, exhaust systems, checking of chassis, wheel balancing and wheel alignment.

    The responsibilities of the position will include the following:

    • Installation, repairing and checking shock absorbers and brake shoes
    • Building and installation of outlet systems as well as the recovery and checking of suspension
    • Wheel alignment of vehicles
    • Balancing and replacing of tires on vehicles and trucks
    • Recharging and testing of batteries
    • Controlling safety and maintenance on equipment and machinery
    • Part-time terminal sales
    • Related administration such as completing worksheets and compiling quotes

    Minimum requirements:

    • The suitable candidate must be in possession of a senior certificate
    • The candidate must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
    • Valid drivers’ licence
    • Experience in wheel alignment and -balancing is a requirement

    • Experience in the suspension and construction of exhaust systems

    Werktuigkundige / Mechanic- Vryburg

    Purpose of position:

    • The incumbent will be responsible for repairing tractors, harvesters and implements in and outside of the workshop. It is important for the incumbent to adhere to set targets, and to deliver exceptional client service.
    • The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Diagnostic analysis, fault finding and assistance with customers’ technical related problems
    • Preparing accurate quotations for clients related to repair and maintenance
    • Implementation and adherence to occupational safety standards
    • General administrative duties which will also include: warranty claims, job cards, timesheets and logbooks

    Minimum requirements:

    • Qualification as a tractor or diesel mechanic
    • Valid driver's license;
    • Willingness to work irregular hours at certain times
    • Proficient knowledge regarding advanced electronic systems of harvesters and the above-mentioned product ranges;
    • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the agricultural / heavy equipment
    • Ability to operate equipment used for diagnostic purposes
    • Three years’ experience in a workshop environment (preferably in the agricultural environment)

    Experience in supervising staff

    • The following will serve as a recommendation:
    • In-depth knowledge of the CNH product range, focussing on the T7, T8 & T9 range or similar
    • Experience in PLM CONNECT or similar
