Accountability:

• Ensuring goods shipped to site are correct and in line with KCC requirements. improvement in processes.

Key Relationships

• Interact closely with Suppliers, Transporters & Clearing Agents
• Interact with the African Region Mines (KCC and MUMI)
• Work closely with onsite warehouse team
• Interact with the KCC Mine / Mumi Mine and Melrose team for any SAP queries
• Report truck loading constraints and/or planning to Expediting Manager

• Matric

Work Experience:

• 3-5 Years’ experience in warehouse management and a understanding of Logistics
• Computer literate MS Office (Advance Excel skills is a plus)
• SAP

General Accountability:

• Plan and oversee outbound logistics, including on-site and off-site warehouse inventory, and the transportation of finished goods.
• Establish and preserve relationships, as well as negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers of crating companies.
• Confer with unit heads to ensure warehouse activities harmonize with that of other functions daily check list and queries.
• Provide support operation processes, including inspection, receiving, and storage; material usage, order picking, and inbound and outbound shipments; and the handling and disposition of material activities.
• Responsible for monitoring and upholding inventory accuracy through cycle count process, investigation of variances, and quarterly and annual physical inventories
• Responsible for managing the department’s KPI’s, including visual controls; and converse status to management.
• Spot and understand root cause of problems and execute countermeasures.
• Develop and implement lean initiatives to guarantee continuous improvement in processes.
• Responsible for employee compliance to company policies and production procedures.

Specific Accountabilities

• SAP
• Assisting as and when required with receipting of items into SAP.
• SAP queries with finance and KCC warehouse team
• Engage with KCC site team for blocked stock codes where receipting cannot take place.

Logistics

• Plan and oversee outbound logistics including on-site and offsite warehouse inventory and the transportation of finished goods.
• Document data verification
• Ensuring items received from supplier complies with items physically delivered.
• Ensuring items received from supplier complies with KCC order.

Operation Support

• Inspection of cargo at suppliers premises on behalf of site team to ensure quality standards are met

Stock Take

• Weekly stock take to ensure items on warehouse floor correspond to SAP stock report for JHB plant
• Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Document Accuracy

• Deadline driven.

Tracking Accuracy

• Accurately and timeously update end users.
