Server Engineer X3 at Exxaro Resources

Position Overview:

• In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining server hardware, software, and related systems to meet the organization's operational needs. You will implement and support complex technical initiatives in LAN-WAN and cloud server-based systems, ensuring they align with enterprise strategies and championing quality service delivery within the Information Management domain.

Minimum Requirements    
QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSc Computer Science ( Essential/Minimum )
• Certificate First Line Management ( Essential/Minimum )

EXPERIENCE: 

• 5-7 Relevant experience in server engineering implementing technical and complex server engineering solutions with a good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration. (Essential/Minimum) (Operational)

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Psychometric Assessment ( Essential/Minimum )
• Certificate of Fitness ( Essential/Minimum )
• Competence: SAP Position Specific Module ( Essential/Minimum )
• Competence: MS Office Relevant Package ( Essential/Minimum )
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer ( Recommended/Desirable )

Duties & Responsibilities

Ability to:

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize the server infrastructure to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the organization's Information Management services.
• Maintaining server hardware, software, and related systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security to support business operations and goals. 
• Implement and support complex technical work in design, development and implementation of LAN-WAN and cloud server- based computer systems 
• Champion quality service delivery 
• Implementation of enterprise strategy within the Information Management domain
