Senior Server And Cloud Engineer at Exxaro Resources

Position Overview:

• In this role, you will lead complex technical initiatives in the design, development, and implementation of LAN-WAN and cloud server-based systems. You will not only maintain and troubleshoot server environments but also mentor junior engineers, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment with our enterprise goals in the IM domain.

Minimum Requirements    
QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSc Computer Science ( Essential/Minimum )
• Master of Business Administration ( Recommended/Desirable )
• Management Development Programme ( Recommended/Desirable )

EXPERIENCE: 

• 8-10 years Relevant experience in leading complex technical teams within the domain of server engineering including extensive experience in Microsoft 365 management. (Essential/Minimum) (Management)

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Psychometric Assessment ( Essential/Minimum )
• Certificate of Fitness ( Essential/Minimum )
• Competence: SAP Position Specific Module ( Essential/Minimum )
• Competence: MS Office Relevant Package ( Essential/Minimum )
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer ( Recommended/Desirable )

Duties & Responsibilities

Ability to:

• Lead and perform complex technical work in design, development and implementation of LAN-WAN and cloud server- based computer systems 
• Lead organizational change 
• Lead quality service delivery 
• Drive enterprise strategy in the IM domain. 
• Lead the design, implementation, management, and optimization of the server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of Information Management services. 
• Not only maintaining and troubleshooting server environments but also mentoring junior engineers, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
