    National Sales Manager (Software Industry)

    • Datacentrix is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales and a deep understanding of the software industry. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales team to achieve revenue targets and identifying new business opportunities in the software industry. If you have the skills, experience, and passion for sales and technology, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT sales, with at least 5 years in a Sales Management role.
    • 5+ years of experience in Sales support (or other functional role that involves technical understanding and interfacing with Sales and clients)Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully managing sales teams.
    • Strong understanding of the ICT industry, including products, services, and market trends.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and other sales-related activities.
    • Lateral thinking – A heuristic for solving problems; you try to look at the problem from many angles instead of tackling it head-on
    • Professional demeanour to interface with clients and various internal departments at the highest level
    • Strong writing and verbal communications skills to clearly communicate and articulate complex technical matters so that clients are able to process the information logically and understand the advantages (value) of the proposed solution
    • Ability to analyse issues and break them down into their components to make systematic and rational recommendations based on relevant information
    • Understands basic internet and client/server architecture
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Must be punctual, disciplined and dedicated to effectively execute job requirements keeping in mind INTERNAL and EXTERNAL HR and IT policies in place

    Responsibilities:

    • The Sales Manager - ICT, will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth and success in the competitive ICT market. 
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals in the ICT sector.
    • Lead, manage, and mentor the ICT sales team, providing ongoing support, guidance, and motivation.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest ICT industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experience and alignment with company objectives.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as customer needs and preferences.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, generate leads, and promote the brand.
    • Develop and manage sales budgets and resources to maximize return on investment.
