    Marketing Manager: SNL24

    Key responsibilities:

    (The primary tasks, functions, and deliverables of the role)

    • Develop and implement a marketing strategy for the division that aims at actively increasing market share, specifically user registrations and subscriptions on SNL24.com
    • Manage and ensure the execution of all marketing plans (strategic and tactical) for SNL24 and its associated brands both in digital and print environments
    • Develop, effectively manage and execute all marketing activities around acquisition and retention campaigns and promotions to encourage registrations, subscriptions, and brand loyalty, as well as to ensure product differentiation
    • Develop and sustain relationships with decisionmakers, advertisers and other relevant media
    • Effectively negotiate with sponsors and partners
    • Coordinate PR projects and liaise with PR companies and agencies, issue press releases when required
    • Prepare monthly departmental management reports
    • Compile and deliver the annual budget that supports the marketing strategy and operating plan
    • Manage and attain budget objectives
    • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Audience Development Teams to support the marketing strategies
    • Continuously analyse markets and identify marketing-related risks and opportunities

    • Excellent administration and planning skills
    • Excellent understanding of the marketing landscape
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Knowledge of strategies to drive subscriptions and registrations
    • Knowledge of commercial and marketing strategies
    • An understanding of the SNL24 audience and their interests

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing or similar
    • At least 4 years’ experience as a marketing manager or similar
    • Knowledge of the marketing environment
    • Knowledge of the SNL24 audience and their interests, as well as those of its associated brands
    • Proficiency in relevant computer packages and applications
    • Solid knowledge of marketing principles and platforms
    • Knowledge of how to build value for brands both online and in print
