    HR System Analyst

    Job Description

    The successful candidate will provide support to the HR Systems Manager in the implementation of the Sage and the implementation of HR-related systems storing employee records, payroll, time off, and other data. The HRIS analyst translates business objectives into system requirements and implements these. This involves optimizing the efficiency or user experience of the HRIS or implementing new technical solutions and will work with different stakeholders to optimize HRIS configuration.

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Provide support to the Systems Manager in the implementation of the Sage system.
    • Provide support to the implementation of HR-related systems.
    • Ensure alignment of the HR system with Company policies.
    • Conduct system clean-up to ensure data integrity.
    • Ensure the execution of the test scripts.
    • Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements.
    • Evaluate HR systems to identify points of improvement.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions that help to streamline and automate (new) HR processes.
    • Implement process improvements and policy changes designed to improve efficiency and the user experience with the system.
    • Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for the system used in the organization (e.g. Sage300)
    • Work with HR, Payroll, and IT to maintain and improve the system HRIS aligned to the segregation of duties 
    • System configuration, end-user access (HR), security, and system efficiency.
    • Supports critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS.
    • Manage HRIS user access profiles and organizational structure.
    • Assist in the preparation of the current processes for review for future changes.
    • Ensure the current system data is correct to import into the new system.
    • Compile statistical reports concerning employee-related data as and when required.
    • Resolve complex queries and requests relating to System and HR Policies.
    • Participate in departmental internal and external audit processes.
    • Support in the collection and documentation of business requirements.
    • Support in the collection of signoff documentation.
    • Administration efficiencies and ongoing monitoring.
    • Train employees on HR Systems.
    • Provide HR System Support. 

    Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.

    Minimum qualifications and experience:

    • Bachelor's Information Technology, computer sciences, Human Resources or related.
    • 5 years HRIS experience, providing system support in Human Resource.
    • Work experience in Sage 300 People is essential. 
    • Work experience in implement HR and Payroll modules
    • Time and Attendance Implementation and Maintenance is essential.
    • IT project management skills.
    • Understanding of system development lifecycle processes.
    • Excellent understanding and knowledge of:
      • HR Reporting
      • HR Matrix
      • HR Analytics.
