    HCSS & IS Payroll Legislative Controller - Woodmead

    Job Description    

    • Stay abreast of all legislative requirements globally across the Group insofar employee earnings, deductions and benefits are concerned
    • Legislative submissions across all AECI Countries as it pertains to employee earnings, deductions and benefits
    • Third party submissions across all AECI Countries as it pertains to employee earnings, deductions and benefits
    • Stakeholder management internationally both internally to the AECI Group and externally to the Legislative Authorities and Third Party Vendors
    • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of legislative / compliance-based communications and training to all internal stakeholders relevant to each country
    • Implementation and testing of all legislative changes across the Group on the Human Capital Platform
    • Compiling and managing the annual legislative/compliance and third party cycle plan
    • Driving the full incorporation of legislation and third party management from the centre
    • End-to-end management of annual changes and updates for each country
    • Provide recommendations on corrective policy and actions, as well as procedural changes that will prevent non-compliance
    • Draft procedures, processes, and policies to facilitate an optimal compliance stance across the AECI Group
    • Getting updates on employee related payment, deductions and benefit regulations / legislative changes / modifications and ensuring that developments in rules and policies are restructured within Human Capital practices, policies and the Human Capital platform
    • Researching changes in applicable rules and regulations, analyzing their effect on the business and communicate findings
    • Collaborating with the legal and tax departments internally to ensure internal alignment in terms of regulatory and legal compliance
    • Run end-to-end audit compliance

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric
    • Minimum relevant B Com Degree or equivalent
    • Minimum 8 Years’ experience in payroll administration and / or employee benefit administration
    • Advantageous International experience
